Description

Mileage reads 95XXX and according to the previous owner it was stored for over 20 years so this mileage may be true. Cruises nicely, shifts smoothly, and is VERY fun to drive. It was garaged/stored indoors for the majority of its life.
The VIN is 105675W136753. Original Fender Tag and VIN plate are in excellent shape. It is a factory Tahitian Turquoise painted body, white top, white interior.
Clean Tennessee Title in hand with my name on it. This Time capsule is ready to hop in, drive, and enjoy! Feel free to call me at (805) 405-0765 if you're interested.
MECHANICALOriginal 110HP Horsepower motor.Carb - These probly need rebuilt or at least tuned as sometimes it doesn’t start up instantly after sitting for a day or so (Cold start). After its started initially or warmed up it starts perfectly.Fresh 20w50 Oil Change with new Wix FilterBrand new Gates Belt (Old one was very aged and broke. I’ll include it with the car).New Wix Fuel FilterNew air cleaner elementThis car’s suspension is super smooth and it drives nice.Manual SteeringManual BrakesNot an AC carManual brakes - Factory 4 drum setup. It stops good but I would go through the brakesE-Brake works perfectlyDash-shifter works well (Drive/Reverse/Neutral all work)Runs, drives, stops, steers as it should.
INTERIORComplete factory white interior.Carpet may be original?Front Buckets and rear seat in good shape. (No major rips or tears)Front Seats slide forward and backDash is metal and in good shape.Factory AM Radio works fineHeadliner looks / Convertible top is in good shape.Sun visors look to be in nice shapeHeat fan kicks on but I haven’t tested the actual heat yetPull-vents for fresh air on driver and passenger side work.Speedometer and Odometer work fine. Gauge cluster illuminates fineAlt/Fan light works fineTemp/Press Light works fine (I Installed a brand new oil pressure sending unit as the old one was bad)Fuel gauge needle is not aligned properly and I'm not sure what's wrong with it. I filled it with premium gas when I purchased it and haven't ran a full tank yet.Signals work great and cancel on their ownHorn works fineHeadlights/Brights/Tailights all workWipers workWindows roll up and down nicelyAll glass looks to be original and not crackedCigarette lighter is untestedNo seatbelts as that was not included with this carFactory non-AC carGlovebox liner is in great shape - Glovebox light doesn't work but probly a bulb?Full set of keys for doors, ignition, and trunk
BODY / TRUNKTahitian Turquoise Paint - Very good looking and different in various lightingManual Convertible top functions fine. Rear plastic/glass is in decent shape. It also has white cover for when it is downOriginal wheels with 4 matching hubcapsAll chrome looks to be presentGrille is in great shapeAll Glass is goodBumper chrome has some blemishes (See photos)The car is not perfect but photographs well. I’m sure a buffuing would work out many of the minor blemishes. On the driver side fender there is an odd substance that was supposedly spilled hot wax from home repairs. This may come off with some elbow grease. The trunks has some rust through as seen in the photosSpare tire mounted in engine bayDoors shut flush (Driver door sometimes has to be lifted slightly to shut perfectly flush)Rear convertible plastic/glass is pretty clearStock Monza Hubcaps (Also comes with aftermarket wire wheel hubcaps which also came with the car)Hood/trunk light doesn't work but wire isn't connected
THINGS I WOULD DO TO IT:Check out the brakes as the is a slow leak of fluid ( I found this by monitoring the master cylinder). The brake Junction block in the cab on the drivers side looks to be damp so this may be the culprit. There is a small oil leakfrom the rear-driver side of the engine. Not sure what this is.Sometimes you can hear a slight tick with the motor. It isn’t a big deal but it’s there.Drivers /Passenger door panels could use some glue to hold the edges down. It’s fine as-is but it would make them look better. The door lock knobs are mostly missing. This is a cheap part
The Fender tag says it came with:Tahitian TurquoiseTahitian Turquoise body, white top, white interior.AM radioBuilt in the third week in Nov.
