I am proud to showcase this privately owned 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza 140 convertible. This car was purchased from the Texas estate of the original owner and has accumulated just over 29,000 original miles. It is still in possession of the 2nd owner, also here in Texas. This car still retains its 1977 Texas inspection sticker. The car spent the better part of 30 years in dry storage. It displays original sheetmetal throughout in exceptional condition along with the full original interior, Soft-Ray tinted glass and '77 dated poly-bias tires. The original paint was faded and the car had one older repaint earlier in its life. The convertible top assembly was recently replaced. The body is exceptionally nice. All of the brightwork is original and intact throughout, showing well. This is the Monza 140HP 4-Carburetor version paired with the 4-speed manual transmission. I hope you enjoy my presentation. Be sure to play the video posted above and feel free to contact me, Sam, with any questions via Ebay or by telephone, 972-748-6389. This is a car that drives down the road tight and feels like its low original mileage indicates. View my 100% positive customer feedback and bid with 100% confidence. I may add a buy it now price at any time so don't miss out!

The exterior displays all original sheetmetal and one older repaint of the correct yellow. This is one of the more solid examples you will find anywhere. This car retains original flooring and frame rails throughout along with the original body panels. The paint itself is showing its age and has a few imperfections on close inspection but no corrosion to note! This is a dry climate Texas car and it shows.

The original chromework is intact and very presentable front to back.

The convertible top assembly has recently been replaced and is in excellent condition. This car retains all original Soft Ray tinted glass and windshield.

Open the doors to 1965. The interior is completely original and in very good condition. The original carpeting and rubber mat is also intact. The 4-speed manual transmission shifts through the gears with authority and the engine runs strong with no noticeable smoke or issues. See Video.

The dash retains original gauges and brightwork along with an excellent dash pad. The door panels are in very good condition and the door undersides are solid as is the underbody.

The upholstery is original front to back and intact, showing some age. Again, see photos. I want to mention that all of the gauges are functional in this car as is the AM pushbutton radio. The original steering wheel is also in place.

Under the engine cover is the original 140HP 4 carburetor engine. The engine compartment steel is original and intact throughout as is the original VIN identification plate.

The undercarriage is undetailed and original throughout. Much of the red oxide primer is still intact and there is no notable corrosion. Again, see photos. There is a tear in the floor pan on the passenger side, likely from a transport, photographed below.
