built from scratch 6 years ago--rebuilt 350 engine, 700R4 trans, 4 wheel manual disc brakes, electric exhaust cut outs, electric parking brake, diamond plate floors and door panels, new gauge cluster and wiring harness, shop built frame was shortened and reinforced during the buildand has been structurally sound ever since.Dependable driver, part of 4 car collection, driven about 1000 miles a year. Stored in an enclosed shelter, starts up every time. Truck cabs were small back then but in 1942 the Chevy cabs got a bit bigger. 5'10" driver fits well. Taller people may have to change to a bomber style seat to gain additional leg room, head room is not a problem. Will guarantee that this vehicle starts, drives and stops .
