1994 Chevrolet B4C 1LE - Highway Police Pursuit Camaro
Description
This was a used in service Oregon State Police Highway Police Pursuit car. As standard the Oregon state police ordered these cars with the 1LE package (140A alternator, oversized front and rear sway bars, larger 4-wheel disc brakes, separate engine, power steering, transmission, and oil coolers. Stiffer mounts, aluminum driveshaft, et cetera) Roll cage welded in, radio insert. This car was in Oregon for only a few years, then Southern Arizona and East Texas. No Rust, no ice, no salt.
184k miles currently, V8, T56 6speed transmission, new spec clutch, new tires, AC blows cold. This was garage kept. This vehicle has never been involved in an accident. Dash mat all of its life. With the exception of Gun holster wear in the driver seat from the sergeant we bought it from the interior is in very good shape. Comes with a Bearcat scanner, built-in custom radio and toggle switch array, pillar gauges, power window and door locks. Oil and maintenance has always been regularly done.
In 1998 the engine rebuilt completely with forged internals, crane gold rockers, custom 230/238 cam, headers, etc at 122k miles and has continued to run strong for the past 60k miles due to regular maintenance and care. The front and rear suspension springs were beefed up, front and rear Koni adjustable shocks, and so much more that couldn't possibly be added to this description. 24mpg on the Highway (see picture, low gearing 1600rpm in 6th at highway speeds). I carry classic car insurance on this vehicle that costs me ~$250/year for full comprehensive coverage and no deductible. Inspection/registration/insurance all current.
Buy it now is set at book value. Reserve well below.
Family has grown beyond where this car is usable, a blast to drive, but time to finally sell it.
