Description

There's just something unmistakably cool about this 1964 Chevrolet El Camino. It's a practical utility vehicle based on one of the most potent muscle cars of the era, complete with a performance-built V8. And now that you've seen the price on this classic El Camino, you might not have enough time to finishing reading this before it's gone. This is the first year the El Camino was made from the intermediate Chevelle underpinnings. The move by Chevy is now legendary for really turning this coupe/pickup into a performance machine. You see the history perfectly on this thanks to GM's legendary Ermine White. It looks particularly nice in the sunshine thanks to a professional respray during this pickup/coupe's lifetime. With paint and bodywork so nice, only the best brightwork will do. That's why the wide chrome bumpers, window trim, and even the tailgate top all has a mirror-like appearance. What's even more amazing is the condition of the bed. It's often a heavily trafficked area, but on this truck, it remains straight and seamless there's also some lining paint to keep it that way. The final piece to grab attention are the iconic Rally wheels with SS spinners for added flair.Red just looks perfect on the inside when a car is bright white on the outside. Even better, is it's the original color combination for this El Camino. In fact, the vinyl bench seat has been upgraded while still keeping the period-correct appearance. To go with this, the door panels, headliner, and carpets are all exceptionally fresh. The dash has lots of shiny surfaces surrounding the original-style instruments, which still show clean faces and bright orange needles. Thanks to its Chevelle connection this is a quite a comfortable place to spend some time. And it gets even better with the upgraded Grant GT steering wheel. You might have noticed a few subtle performance hints (like the SS spinners or Corvette floor mats) and once you look under the hood, you see that it all is hinting at a larger purpose. This El Camino is powered by a 350 cubic-inch small block that has been enhanced with plenty of go-fast goodies. This includes a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, Accel Super Coil & wires, and long tube headers. That last one not only adds power, but also it contributes to the wicked rumble of the dual exhaust. And more than just an all-out performance machine, this El Camino keeps its easy-cruising Chevelle nature with a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission, sedan-like suspension, power steering, and power brakes. This is a great looking El Camino that keeps its vintage appearance, but still has the perfect upgrades in all the right places. You'd expect to pay plenty more for an El Camino this well done. Call now!!!
