1984 Chevrolet Corvette coupe, 97k original miles
Description
Vehicle was purchased in 2015 at the Corvette Show in Carlisle, PA as a project car and has since been gone over mechanically. Since purchase (within the last 1000 miles):
-Newly rebuilt automatic transmission
-New battery
-All new weather stripping
-Engine tune-up (replaced plugs, wires, rotor, cap)
-New serpentine belt-Two new front tires
-All new brake pads
-Changed brake fluid
-New emergency brake shoes and cables
-New gas shocks on hood and rear hatch
The dashboard instrument cluster was rebuilt and works great. It comes with a 1-year guarantee from the company that rebuilt it. The colors are now crisp and easy to see in daylight (see pictures).
There is a new aftermarket radio with CD player, Bluetooth, USB, and two new speakers in the doors. The original radio is available, but was replaced because I couldn't get it to work consistently.
There is a power seat for the driver. The car has sport seats but not all functions work. The power windows both work. One air idle control, the throttle position sensor, and the MAP sensor were replaced.
The body is in excellent shape, no damage or cracks. Frame is solid and in great shape with basically no rust. The paint is dull.
The spare tire does not hold air and there is no jack included. There is a small crack in the Targa top that is visible in the pictures.
The car is a great driver car. It is solid mechanically and I have enjoyed working on it for the past year and a half, but am selling it to make room for my next project.
