Up for auction is a very nice 1966 Chevrolet C10 pickup that I recently purchased out of the state of Missouri. This truck is in great condition, inside and out. It features a very well running 350 engine with a fresh rebuild about 500 miles ago. It is mated to 3-Speed manual transmission which shifts well through the hurst shifter. This truck shows 32K miles but the true mileage is unknown. It is being sold with original Protecto Plate and Owners Manual. It was sold new at Paul Schupbach Chevrolet, Seymour Missouri on 01-15-1966.
The truck was recently restored and has brand new chrome bumpers, trim, door handles, etc.. The paint is in great condition with no major blemishes to speak of or note. The hood does have stripes that are matte black, which match the roof. The door shut nice and maintain a good door gap when closed. The interior is brand new. The upholstery is excellent and is redone in a grey vinyl which is matched on the headliner and door panels. Close attention to detail was taken into consideration when putting the interior together.
The truck starts right up when cold. No smoking, strong idle that sounds great through the dual exhaust. The truck runs excellent and has surprising power, it was a very healthy rebuild. The truck doe not have power steering or power brakes. It brakes very well and doesn't take all your might to stop it. The interior of the bed has been rhino lined and finished off with a newer wood bed. Please review all photos and ask any questions.
