Description

This camaro is a pretty decent car but was redone at some point many years ago. The paint has chips and bubbling down on the bottom by the rockers and quarters. Paint is dull. Don't let the pictures fool you. It looks decent from 10 feet but I'd say it definitely needs body work and a repaint. The car is all there pretty much. It runs and drives pretty decent. The transmission doesn't want to work well until it warms up for some reason. I'm not a mechanic so I'm not sure what that means. The air conditioning is not there anymore, it was gone when I got it. It did have factory air though. Car still has the original Z28 wheels and the tires are brand new with less than 300 miles on them. Dual exhaust is about two years old. The engine runs pretty decent, it isn't overbuilt with a ton of power but it's a sound motor and the only real issue I'm aware of is that it smokes a little when I start but it goes away quickly and someone told me it could be valve seals. New Edelbrock performer intake and new Edelbrock 550 com carb and new aluminum radiator. I also have a new am-fm CD player that goes with but isn't installed. This car has a ton of potential and has all of the original Z28 badging with the lovers that go around the wheels and the wheels themselves and is rare to find one of these all together unless they are redone and nobody can afford. This one is very affordable and can be driven like it is or can easily be restored. The car does have some rust which I have tried to show in the pictures but the floors and frame rails are all solid. The power windows do both work but the power locks do not work. Also the key cylinder on the drivers door isn't working. Headliner has been replaced with some ugly aftermarket material and the front bucket seats aren't the same material as the original but the seats are I nice shape. This car will work fine as a daily driver or is a great foundation for a restoration. Look at all pictures please. I'm not trying to misrepresent anything here. This is a very cool car but needs plenty of work to make it perfect but not a whole lot just to go and enjoy a real true Z28. These are getting harder to find at the price this will sell for. Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end auction early. Good luck bidding
