Description

1973 Camaro 406 SBC T56 Magnum 6-speed
Engine:
This engine is a freshly built 406 sbc. It is a conservative 425hp, built with great parts to last a long time and make great power. The solid lifer cam is over .550 lift with the 1.6 rockers. This same set up went 11.70's in my 68 Camaro. Below are the specs to the engine.
Scat crankshaft and rods
Mahle pistons (10.5/1 cr)
Comp Gold 1.6 rockers
ProMaxx Aluminum heads 2.02/ 1.6 stainless valves
+.100 hardened pushrods
Solid camshaft

Drivetrain:This is a brand new out of the box American Powertrain Tremec T56 6-speed trans capable of handling 700 foot pounds out torque. Cruising speed on the highway with this trans will be less than 2000 rpm @ about 70mph. The rear was also just rebuilt, new posi unit axles, c-clip eliminators, bearings, seals...everything is new or rebuilt.
T56 magnun 6-speed (NEW)

10 bolt rearend
Moser 33 spline axles (new)

Other:Everything is either new or rebuilt on this car. I made an effort to restore this car to a factory look with a lot of extra power with the ability as a daily driver. Here are some of the things done:
2 1/2 in dual exhaust
All new brake lines
1/2 in aluminum fuel line
Fuel tank sump welded in.
Aluminum radiator
Energy Suspension body mounts
Energy suspension A-arm and leaf spring bushings
New rear brake drums
New front rotors
New brake master cylinder
New front and rear tires
New chrome steel rally wheels
New window and trunk seals
New door handles
Interior:
New carpet
New headliner
New sail panels
New gauges (speedo, tach, oil psi, water temp and fuel level)
There are still a couple minor things that need done but this car is ready to enjoy. I need the front and rear window molding and the passenger side lower door panel. If you have any questions, please ask... I'd be happy to ask anything or provide more pictures. Thanks for looking.
