1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS “Tribute”

with a big block 468that was bored to a 468 with Turbo 350 automatic transmission that was rebuilt with a shift kit.Not quite sure of all the specs on the engine but it does have a lopey cam.A professional engine builder in Douglasville GA built the engine and bored the 454 over 30(not sure what year the 454 is or what it is out of). I have a stack of receipts for this car with everything that was done.The car was restored in 2009 with all new parts..I have spent well over $35,000when I restored it.I did all the work myself, except paint, which is not the best but still shows very well. 8 out of 10.I took the car to 6 shows and it won 4 out of 6 and have the trophies to show. Again, this was my wife’s car so it didn’t get driven very much.

The door and fender rubbed a little and it has a couple of small chips.The interior is as nice as a 50k car.It just doesn’t get any better other than the instrument bezels, steering wheel and a radio (I couldn’t make my mind up if I wanted to put an original back in or an aftermarket Bluetooth),

The car has all of the SS396 badges and emblems and correct black paint for a big block car on the back.

∞The list goes on and on…….I know I have missed something because there is so much, so please Do not hesitate to ask and come inspect the car.When I got the car it had no interior and and no exterior chrome so it was a “project”.It already had the big block in it and I had the turbo 350 transmission rebuilt with a shift kit installed and a reverse valve body…..Car will scream.The 468 big block produces lots of torque and has around 425 horsepower but have never dyno’ed it to check.The ONLY reason I’m selling the car is because we are building a new house and my wife is wanting a swimming pool and I built this car for her, so its hers to do what she wants(stupid me).I have my toys and this one is hers.

Please make sure this car is what you are wanting and inspect it before bidding.There are several local hot rod shops around me that you can get to look the car over if you are not able.Please make sure you have available funds before bidding and I will require a $1,000 deposit within 3 days after the sell ends and the remaining balance to be paid within 5 days.Pay however you would like but the car will not be released until all funds clear and my bank typically holds checks for 10-14 days to make sure no counterfeit, etc…. Prefer cash in person though.I have a bill of sale for the car only as Georgia does not require titles.I live near Athens Ga which is about 45 minutes east of Atlanta.The car will be sold with no warranty or guarantees as this is an almost 50 year old car that has been restored.
