1965 Chevy II Nova Custom/street rod
Description
This car has been completely rebuilt from ground up, absolutely no rust anywhere. It took the previous owner 10 years to complete the build.Engine: Built 350 cu in. with very aggressive Hydraulic flat tappet cam, 3" exhaust to the rear sounds really good, Double hump heads, Edlebrock chrome valve covers, chrome water pump, chrome alternator, polished dual plane intake manifold with Holley HP 650 double pumper carb, MSD distributor, MSD coil, MSD 6al ignition box mounted in glove box, four core "Griffin" radiator, electric thermostat controlled fan, ceramic coated "Dyno Tech" headers, also has new gas tank.
Drivetrain: Heidts superide II with coil overs, rack and pinion steering, four wheel disc brakes (not power) and new brake lines, 700R transmission with Transco 2 shift kit, corvette servo, torque converter is 2500 stall, transmission cooler, rearend is a ford 9" with strange axles and 3.90 positive trac gears, four link system and sub frame connectors on rear, Budnik custom wheels with 18" michelin p225/40/18 on front and 20" michelin p285/30/20 on the rear. (almost $5000 for wheels and tires)
Exterior: Black shiny paint, straight body with shaved door handles and gas tank lid (fill is in trunk), all keyways remove, new stainless tri, new windshield, new bumpers, Door poppers on remote and electric trunk release in the glove box, have emergency openers for both. LED lights on rear that turn red when brake is mashed. Previous owner said cost $10k to paint.
Interior: New gray frabic interior, headliner, carpet, Flaming River tilt steering wheel, shifter is a B&M "Quick Silver", Gauges are all Autometer (tach, gas, speedometer, oil, temp, volt) Radio is a Kenwood DDX512 with am/fm,cd,and navigation if hooked up, Vintage Air and heat keeps the car comforable year round.
other: Fiberglass 2" cowl hood with polished stainless steel panel underneath, polished stainless steel inner fender panels, powder coated hood springs, powder coated front end, new painless wiring, alarm system. The speedometer started acting up last week so I ordered a Autometer GPS module and should get it fixed this week, it has a sender from transmission right now. I have the chrome brake master cylinder but it needs to have seal replaced, I think the one in there looks fine. Car does real well at shows.
I would consider trade for 1965 Chevelle supersport in like condition.
