Description

Up for auction is my 69 Camaro that I have owned for 6 years. Just repainted last May (2016) (PPG Cromax) Lemans Blue. This was a base/clear wet sanded to perfection. I have 18" Ridler wheels 245/40/8.5 up front 275/40/ 9.5 rears. Tires are Nitto 555's very sticky tire. The car handles nicely. Has frame connectors. New houndstooth interior as well as headliner and rug. The engine is 6.0 liter Lq4 with aluminum heads and hooker long tube ceramic headers. The transmission is a th350 with a 2800 stall. 3:08 rear gears. The gas tank is from Rick's tanks ($750.00) with a walbro 3100 in the tank. This Camaro is a pre x code meaning it was a early production car built in Los Angeles and not Van Nuys. It was built 9/25/68. I believe only the first 5,000 or so were built there. Trim tag says Los Angeles to prove this. The car is super reliable and a pleasure to drive. Lots of attention every time it leaves my garage. The neighbors still give it thumbs up and they have seen it for 6 years now lol. Constant trophy winner and always draws a crowd. If you don't enjoy talking to people then this car is not for you. It has some cool features like a modern rear view mirror with a built in outside temperature reading and a data port that you can plug a scanner into to run diagnostics. I have enjoyed this car and now I just want to move on to something new.

A few more things I just remembered. It has HID headlights, Hotchkis lowering springs 1 3/4", Bilstein shocks. There is slight rubbing noise on a full turn which is more noticeable with multiple passengers. Just want to be honest. It didn't rub until I lowered it. No paint issues.

I also replaced the heater core last winter. No leaks. This is an original power windows car. The windows work perfect. Also, it's a deluxe interior car.
