1979 Chevrolet 2wd K5 Blazer

I am the third owner, originally purchased in Wills Point, just east of Dallas

Blue and white with great patina.

No major rust. Does have a small hole in floorboar, just in front of back seat,and a pinhole right behind driver's door.

H4 headlights with silverstar bulbs

LS Swap all aluminum 5.3 L33 out of a 2005 Silverado

799 Heads and flat top pistons with 10:1 compression

Lingenfelter GT2-3 cam with LS6 springs

Replaced valve stem seals, oil pump and gaskets

Dynoed 318hp and 340 ft/lbs to rear wheels

New headers with h-pipe and Dynomax super turbo mufflers 2 ½” pipe

New electric fans

New 26 gallon tank with baffle and Walbro 190lph pump

Cold air intake

Cleaned and checked radiator

145 amp alternator

New belts, mounts, hoses, wires, battery, etc.

Tuned by TXLSX here locally. Swap is done right with correct engine mounts and transmission crossmember, along with a custom computer mount. (All three by Tejas Steelworks)

Runs amazing and never overheats (197-200 in 100 degree traffic with a/c on)

Trailblazer 6 cyl converter (about 2800 stall)

Custom driveshaft with new ujoints and balanced

Just rebuilt with all new bearings, eaton posi trac and 3:73 Richmond gears

A/C works great. I put in a new compressor with new custom lines. Previous owner replaced entire system 4 or so years ago.
