White 1976 Chevrolet Caprice Two Door Hardtop 82K Miles Survivor

Here is a nice 1976 2 door hard top Chevrolet Caprice that is a 2 owner survivor car! The original owners were from New Castle Indiana. They retired and moved to Florida where the car stayed until they passed on and their family brought the car back to Indiana when we purchased it in May of 2000. The car had 75,000 miles on it in 2000, it now has ~82,317. We (cooksey1) are listing the car for a family member see below for whom to contact with questions.

The car is white with a 350 cubic inch motor with a turbo 350 transmission. It has been repainted at some point long ago and is hard to tell.

It has a new battery and tires with very low mileage on them. It has had the oil changed this fall and runs great. This car is very original and has its wheel covers and fender skirts! (Original radio and horn works)

Its condition is good +. There are a few rust spot as you can see in the pictures and needs a good cleaning/detailing. We’ve done no body work to it since we bought it. The exhaust is fine from the motor thru the catalytic converter to where the muffler rusted off. The car is not overly noisy. The air conditioning does not work which is typical of these cars. It rides like a dream. All lights and turn signals work. This car was driven every summer and garaged every winter. Both rear axle seals were changed in 2016. Both rear brakes got new shoes. The rear wheel part of the master cylinder has a slow leak that I haven’t found yet, will leave that to new owner. The interior is in good condition. The seats are very good condition, no rips or tears. The carpet is worn under the drivers feet area and here and there. The head liner is spotless. The dash pad has the typical UV crack down the middle. The interior plastic parts have some UV fading that occurred long ago. This car hasn’t set outside since 2000 except for pictures.
