Description

I will do my best to keep this as brief as possible but cover the important things. There is entirely too much to list but am glad to answer any questions you have. I know every spec from the engine timing, to gear teeth, gaskets and casting #’s. I encourage serious buyers to see this truck in person to fully appreciate it. Everything works and is mechanically sound.

I did a complete frame-off rebuild and replaced/rebuilt just about everything with the exception of the 60 year old patina mother nature gave it. I wanted it to look like a 60 year old farm truck but update the motor/drive terrain, etc. This truck was build correctly and had no shortcuts taken. It sounds and runs like a beast and doesn’t leak a drop of fluids. It has been garaged since it was rebuilt.

It has a 6.6L 400 SBC motor - 2 bolt main, 327 double camel hump heads, Hedman Transdapt headers and oil pan, Edelbrock high rise intake, carburetor, water pump and fuel pump. MSD distributor, FSR double pass 2 row radiator, TCI harmonic balancer, power steering and brakes, AC, Belltech shocks, American Racing wheels with Hancook tires, Hurst shifter, 4-speed Muncie M22 transmission and S10 steering column with tilt.

I put it on a 1992 s10 frame to give it a modern chassis and suspension. I wanted independent front suspension and to be able to stop by any auto parts store if something broke. The frame was completely sanded and painted and all suspension parts replaced.

I custom ordered the American Racing wheels to take up every mm of space I could. Front: 20X8 2” backspacing 245/35/20, Rear: 20X9.5 2” back spacing 275/30/20.

It sits as low as it can without putting air bags on it. The bed has been raised (because of it being so low) and I custom build the bed floor.

I kept as many of the original trim pieces on the interior and exterior as I could. The interior has been painted black and has nip and tuck headliner and seat upholstery. The floor is completely insulated and has new carpet. All gauges work including cigarette lighter, dome light, AC, etc. It has a kenwood head unit in the glove box with focal door speakers and a JL Audio subwoofer and amp behind the seat. In addition to the insulation I also have fatmat insulation and sound deadener to keep out road noise and enhance the sound system.
