For sale by a private party is this beautifully restored 1951 Chevrolet 3100 series pickup.Truck underwent a frame off restoration which was completed in 2007.Every nut, bolt, and rivet were replaced using stainless steel.

The original 231 c.i. six cylinder was replaced with a totally rebuilt and mildly modified, 1954, 235 c.i. Chevrolet six.The original 3-speed transmission was replaced with a Saginaw 4-speed and mated to the original style enclosed drive shaft.

Very little if any body work was performed.All the metal on the truck is original and it has only 500 miles on it since completion.Taken to car shows and cruise in's.

Owner is selling for personal reasons.

BODY & PAINT

Color is PPG "Copperhead" in 2-stage urethane

Stainless was repolished

Re-chromed bumpers and grill (door handles are original)

Glass is original except for the windshield and side door units.

Totally refinished bed.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

Re-built 1954, 235 c.i. Chevy 6 Cylinder (new pistons, crank, rods, mild cam, milled head, valve job)

Fenton dual 1 barrel intake w/ Rochester carburetors

Fenton split exhaust manifold

Re-built Saginaw 4-speed matched to the original enclosed driveshaft.

INTERIOR

Stock bench seat recovered

Added oil pressure and volt meter gauges

Retained stock shifter

Ididit tilt steering column

Truck was totally rewired

12-volt electrical system

SUSPENSION & DIFFERENTIAL

Stock frame media blasted and painted with all new suspension components

Truck has been lowered 2" all the way around

Added sway bar on the front

All new brakes and hardware

New 15-gallon gas tank mounted under bed

Drum brakes all the way around

Stock rear differential w/ 3.83:1 gears

215 x 75R x15 radials on all 4-corners.
