This listing is for a 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door hardtop rolling body shell.This is a 99% rust free Arizona body, which has been media blasted and primed in DuPont DP50 epoxy primer. There are a few minor areas of rust, nothing serious and nothing bigger the size of a half dollar. Specifically, a small spot in the right front toe board, a spot in the left rear corner of the trunk, a spot under the left tail light, and some small spots on the rocker panels (see photos). There was some damage (someone side swiped a pole) to the passenger door, and quarter panel between the door jamb and wheel opening. The quarter panel was removed, the area prepped, and a new quarter $800.00 panel is included (primed in DP50 on the outside, and semi-gloss black rust oleum on the inside). The wheel well seal has been properly installed with staples (see photo), and is ready for the quarter panel to be installed).

Also included are a new passenger side door (new $900.00 reproduction with correct molding holes), 4 new door hinges ($340.00), a new trunk lid ($500.00), and a new tail pan ($80.00). Additionally, the door jamb and inner support have been replaced (($250.00). Both front fenders are included, both are rust free, one has had a repair to the lower area that is adjacent to the rocker panel (a metal patch was added), the headlamp areas are sold with no rust issues.Both have been media blasted and primed on the outside surface with DP50, the inner sides were blasted and never primed so they have surface rust, and will need to be redone, and the same applies to the hood and front splash pan.

Inner fenders and splash guards are included, all are in good condition, all will need to be media blasted and primed.I do not have the original core support, I do have a new Mattson’s Aluminum core support, radiator, dual SPAL cooling fans and A/C condenser that is not included in this listing, but is available for an additional $2000.00.

Clear California title, VIN is intact and on the driversthe door jamb, I have the original trim tag, and a new replacement tag (the original is legible but in poor condition).

This is a good solid base from which to build a really nice Bel Air.
