Description

You're looking at a car that has no equal. This 1960 Chevrolet Corvette is the kind of restomod that takes the ionic style and adds everything you could want. So while you're enjoying the performance of beautifully presented crate V8 and the comfort of an A/C interior, you'll also be winning awards in a unique build that has been customized over every inch.
This is a bit stealthy from the first impression. The slick black paint with iconic silver coves just looks like the two-tone of a painstakingly restored first-generation Corvette. This restomod retains the iconic design lines that made this America's sports car. The subtle power bulges in the hood, rounded fender lines, and hint of tailfin are all pieces we love to see on a C1. And like any good '60s machine there was plenty of brightwork. Everything from the intricate form-fitting split bumpers, to the toothy grille, to delicate trim that runs the full-length of the front fender it all has the mirror-like quality of serious investment. But it also isn't hard to spot that this is an upgraded machine. The large Boyd Coddington 18-inch alloys completely fill the wheel wells with modern performance for a far more aggressive stance.
While this one comes with a deep black folding roof that looks great against the exterior, we really know that your favorite days will be the ones with the top off. After all, the red interior just looks like it's radiating performance from within this slick machine. The fresh and correct bucket seats fit so perfectly between the C1's iconic waterfall tonneau. The same red is used for the doors, dash, shift boot, and even carpet piping. Plus, we bet you wish they made jackets out of this carpet's premium weave. The total impression makes for a striking and uniform package that gets kudos on the interior alone. And more than just look fantastic, there are plenty of great comfort features like the custom lower dash that contains an AM/FM stereo w/aux input and controls for ice-cold modern R134a air conditioning that way you can stay cool while looking cool driving with the top down any time of year. You'll rest you right hand on the Lokar shifter, your right one on the custom red/chrome steering wheel, and gaze at cool blue glow of the Dakota Digital gauges. All of these tells your senses to get ready for something special, even before you twist the key and hear the roar of the exhaust.
Everywhere you park, you won't be able to resist lifting the hood and showing off. Just like the rest of this classic, you're looking at a heavy investment in show-worthy components. The black engine bay looks great against the glossy black valve covers and matching air topper with classic Corvette graphic. And the tidy packaging is a nice indication of the upgrade to this V8. You're looking at performance crate motor with only about 9,200 miles on the whole build. Plus, it has performance upgrades like the bright Edelbrock Performer intake, Edelbrock cylinder heads, MSD Ignition, and Sanderson headers. Out on the road, this handles like no C1 that you know. The Jim Meyer Racing suspension components include great upgrades like tubular A-arms up front, a four-link rear, and adjustable coilovers at each wheel. Plus, the modern grip of Nitto Extreme NT555 tires and disc brakes at every wheel give you a total superior handling package. But a true restomod is more than just a great performance machine. It's easier to drive everywhere, too. That's why you have a four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive, power steering, and an aluminum radiator w/electric fan to keep it all running cool even if you're in traffic with the A/C pumping.
This is a vintage C1 for the upper echelon, and we have the build receipts as proof. It usually takes a lifetime to get a car looking like this, but if you're lucky enough, the ultimate classic Corvette could be yours tomorrow. Call today!!!
