Description

Sometimes we require the best of everything. That's why this real-deal 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 has been expertly restored inside and out to be even more powerful and more attractive than the day this X77-code car let the factory.
No other car wears racing stripes as well as a Z/28 Camaro; they practically define the legend. But this one does it with extra flair. It starts with a modern application of an aggressive red. The gloss and shine might draw people in, but it's the straightness of the metal that first really impress people. It's part of a solid investment in making sure the fundamentals were right before the first drop of paint was applied. On top of that you have all the best Z/28 gear, including the cowl induction hood, front air dam, correct badging, and D80 rear spoiler. And of course, those iconic dual stripes painted on top we can't stop talking about them, and neither will other people! But while this one gets all the packaging correct for a X77-spec Z/28, keen eyes will spot a very cool upgrade. The Rally wheels are actually larger units by Wheel Vintiques. They are staggered 18/20 inches front/rear to give this one a meaner stance that hints at the upgrades underneath the skin.
The interior is exactly how you want it bucket seats, a center console, and a deep black over everything. You can tell all the right investments were made inside by the way it looks and feels far fresher than anything from 1969. Plus, there's a premium feeling here, too. It's in everything from the wood applique on the console and dash, to the upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo that still blends into the original mounting. But the best features are reserved for you. It starts with the dual spoke factory steering wheel that gives you a clear view to the large speedo and tach. Plus, the iconic quad gauge package is in the center console. But the piece you'll never want to let go of is the Hurst shifter with special Z/28 knob.
The motor looks quite correct with its bright air topper and matching ribbed valve covers. But just like the interior and exterior, everything feels quite a bit fresher. That's because you're actually looking at a ZZ4 performance crate motor. So while the original 302 was a hot one, it has nothing on the evolution and extra displacement that GM's engineers gave this powerful 350 V8. Plus, this has all the right components, including a Holley four-barrel carburetor, aluminum intake, aluminum heads, and Hedman long tube headers that add more power as they feed the rumbling Flowmaster dual exhaust. Best of all, you have full control of this upgraded powerhouse and its thunderous soundtrack thanks to the original Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission. This feeds the original 12-bolt rear end that's running versatile 3.73 gears with Positraction. Add in power steering, front disc brakes, and the modern grip of Nitto low-profile tires, and this is a terrific all-around Z/28.
Complete with restoration photos, you're looking at great Z/28 rarity with all the right investments in upgrades. Something this unique and desirable will not stay available for long. Call today!!!
