Description

Up for sale is my 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS clone/tribute. It is and always has been a rust free and clean California car. I bought it back in 2009 and is registered in my name. Pink slip/title shows I registered it back in 2009. When it was purchased by me.bought it as a project that was disassembled and sold by the owner who was overwhelmed by all of it once apart. I took on this project and restored it over the course of 4 years. Mostly because I was constantly looking on eBay for original and NOS parts for it. Because of that I'd say the car has about 90% original and NOS parts. Genuine GM. The paint, door panels, wheels, exhaust, rotors, and some other pieces that require changing during a restoration are the things that aren't original GM. But the rest of the car is. Car still has all of its original sheet metal and is being stored in my garage. This is not a show car but is an extremely beautiful car that went through a complete frame off restoration. The frame was complete sandblasted and powder coated, the car was sandblasted, the seat frames were even sand blasted and powder coated as well. All the full metal pieces that could be removed from the car were sandblasted and powder coated such as the radiator support pieces, motor brackets, springs, and much more. Screws/nuts were all also sandblasted. Car originally came with a 327 engine if I remember correctly but now has a 454 from a 74 maybe 75 pick up truck. Engine was purchased rebuilt in 2010 and all I did was add a larger cam. The shop gave me the higher one for the street but I don't know all about cams. You can check out my videos to see the car run and drive. Has a 12 bolt rear end with 4.10 positraction gears. Car also has a 400 tranny. It is an automatic car with a console shift. Car originally had a bench seat but I converted it to original bucket seats I purchased. Which as I mentioned earlier I had sand blasted and powder coated. Car has round gauges that were installed. I'm not the best at electrical parts so when I installed them but I couldn't get the gas gauge, wiper motor, and temperature gauge to work. Everything else works. Im just not great with wiring so I couldn't install it. Anyone who knows where they go can do it. They're there but car originally didn't have the round gauges hats why I got confused and left it as is since then. Chevelle is an Original AC car. But it is not connected, does not have the compressor or some of the other components. See picture of under hood. Has a Holley 750 carb double pumper. Exhaust pipes are 3 inches with super 44 flowmasters and one of the meanest sounding cars you will find. The video sound quality does not do this car any justice. It sounds like a beast! The wheels on it on the back are 275/60/15. The fronts are 225/60/15, front trims are 15x7 and rear I think are either 15x10 or 15x9. I can't remember exactly. The grille is NOS original and brand new, no cracks or breaks. Interior is very very nice. Leather seats,. Interior was done about 1 year and a half ago. Car has a clean title in my name. You are welcome to come in person and see the car yourself. You can also request more pictures. Ask any questions, the reserve is set at a a fair price considering the condition of the car and the money put into it. I believe it should go higher than the reserve considering the money put into it. It's not a show quality car but is a very nice restored car that gets looks everywhere it goes. $500 deposit required within 48 hours. World wide bidders are welcome however you must arrange shipping. Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping and paying shipping costs. Car will not leave my property until it has been paid in full and the funds available in my account. I dont mind having the car in my garage while you arrange for shipping and can be patient with that as long as the car is paid for in full.
I have added all the little defects on the paint in photos and one video. They are minor defects and nothing major or really noticeable. The back main seal in the engine has a very minimal leak that sometimes leaks. Doesn't always leak but when it does it is only a few drops. But I want the bidders/buyer to see I'm showing all the minor details so you won't have any surprises. Paint quality is a 8/10 and interior is a 9/10. I am an honest seller. Ask anything or request pictures of anything. You can request my phone number and I will call you once I'm off work. I am not listing my number since I do work and don't want to get in trouble at work. Calls on request. I do not need to sell it but also Car is sold as is since it is a 1971 not a new car off the dealer lot. As I mentioned come inspect the car in person. Test drives only if you are a serious buyer with drivers license, insurance, and actually have the cash and interest in purchasing the car. Please don't bid if you are a non paying bidder and make sure to get permission from your wife before purchasing.
