1967 Chevy C-10. I purchased this truck form the original owner. He had owned it in till he passed away in 2014. The truck had been garaged kept since new. Built in Fremont California. This truck remained in California most of its life. Factory SWB, V-8 truck. Matching vin numbers on both frame and cab. Frame Off Restoration. Less than 1000 miles on the truck since its show quality restoration. The undercarriage and frame is spotless. During the restoration the frame, undercarriage, and underside was stripped and repainted or undercoated. Power steering, power disc brakes, mildly built 350, turbo 400 automatic transmission. Thousands of dollars and hundreds of man hours were invested into this restoration.
MOTOR &TRANSMISSION- Rebuilt 350. Mildly built. Electronic ignition. New Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, four barrel carburetor, chrome air cleaner and valve covers. New stock exhaust manifolds. The engine bay is fully detailed to show quality as seen in the pictures. Rebuilt Turbo 400 automatic transmission with shift kit and external transmission cooler. Full stainless dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. 12 bolt rear axle with high way gears. The exhaust sounds awesome, the truck cruises at highway speeds nicely.
PAINT & BODY- Meticulous 3 year frame off restoration. This was a California truck most of its life. The entire truck, frame, axles, inside of the cab, ect, were all completely stripped and repainted. The Truck was completely disassembled down to the bare shell, cab, and frame. There was minimal rust repair needed. The truck is now completely rust free. All metal work was professionally done. A show quality window out paint job was applied. Very little filler was used during the restoration. The truck was repainted with PPG paint. The color is called Victory Red. New front bumper, badges, lenses, headlights, all weather striping, window and door rubber, aluminum grill trim, door handles and ignition switch (one key fits all lock), side mirrors. Under the hood and engine bay was painted and detailed to show quality. All new body mounts and hardware. The bed was completely disassembled. New bed wheel wells and complete bed floor were installed. All new hardware. Professionally installed color matched spray in bed liner. The truck is always kept inside a heated garage and only driven on nice days.
INTERIOR- The entire inside of the cab was repainted. Brand new reproduction Hounds Tooth seat upholstery and padding were installed with matching door panels. New carpet, steering wheel, sun visors, seat belts, various chrome plated interior pieces and interior trim, new carpet, instrument bezel/gauges, Kenwood CD plyer with Alpine door speakers, heater core, windshield, dash pad, rear view mirror, and antenna.
OTHER- Brand new Torque Thrust aluminum wheels. New BF Goodrich tires (95% tread). New starter, alternator, power steering pump, water pump, fuel pump, flex fan, radiator, heater core, heater blower motor, battery, gas tank, fuel sender, filler neck and cap. Two inch receiver hitch hidden behind the license plate.
BRAKES/SUSPENSION- The truck has been updated with front power disc brakes. New front spindles, brake rotors & calipers, dual circuit master cylinder, and power brake booster. New rear drums, wheel cylinders, and brake shoes. Brand new heavy duty chrome moly rear axle shafts. Heavy duty front and rear sway bars. New wheel bearings, brake lines, front and rear coil springs. The complete front end was rebuilt including all bushings/rubber parts. The C-10 drives, handles, and stops exceptional.
Although there is much work that has been done to the truck that has not been listed, I tried to high light the main points of the build. This is one of the nicest fully restored factory SWB C-10's on the market. I am regretfully selling this truck out of my collection as it rarely gets driven. The truck runs, looks, and drives better than new. The truck needs nothing. Perfect for car shows or a week end cruiser. Clean Washington title.
