Up for auction is a nice and a true 1964 Impala Super Sport that was painted several years ago but still shines like glass. The interior looks to be 100% original and super nice, the only thing showing ware is the carpet but chose to leave it like it is to stay original, even the dash pad is original with no cracks or fading. The car has a tilt steering column that is pretty rare for these early Impalas. All of the moldings, the chrome, the glass are very very nice as you can see in the photos. Power comes from a very good running original 283 V8 and smooth shifting original power glide transmission. It has power steering and power drum brakes. This car runs and drivers fantastic and wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere and ithas new tires on 7 inch front rally wheels and 8 inch on rear. Okay as far as the body as you can see from the pictures I tried to show where they put half quarter panels on years ago when it was painted and not a good quality job like it is done on today's standards. I had planned on putting full quarters on some day and new trunk mounts but have too many things going on right now including health issues. The car is fun to drive and gets lots of attention just like it is. I highly recommend coming to view the car in person because everyone has different opinions when it comes to these old cars.
