1970 chevrolet corvette convertible
Description
Thank you for looking,
I'm listing my 1970 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. This is a solid #3 driver that I've absolutely loved owning. The car is painted Laguna Grey with a red interior. The car was purchased from Georgia and shipped north so there is no rust/rot present. Options include power windows, power steering, and the original hardtop which is rare. I'll do my best to describe the current condition below:
Exterior:
Decent condition. There are a few minor scratches, cracks, etc but nothing major. I will be adding pictures of any imperfections. The car has an older paint job and I would rate it a 7/10. Exterior trim/chrome is in good condition with most either re-chromed and emblems replaced. Convertible top is new and the original hardtop is included as well.
Interior:
Interior is in solid condition with a mixture of original and replacement parts. Would rate 7/10. Seat covers are new as is the carpet. Door panels are in good condition with minor wear and there are a few small cracks on the original dash.
Engine:
Numbers matching 350/300 car which runs well. Odometer shows just over 34,000 but i'm assuming it has rolled over once. No leaks, whines, etc. Carb was replaced before my ownership.
Transmission:
4 speed manual which shifts well and no issues with the clutch
Brakes:
Brakes have been completely overhauled. New rear calipers, all four rotors are new, new brake pads, new brake lines, etc.
Suspension:
Added coilovers to the front about six months ago for ride height adjustment and to firm up the ride. Rear was lowered with bolts and new QA1 shocks. Handles very well.
Wheels/Tires:
Brand new 17" front/18" rear American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels with new Nitto tires. Less than 100 miles on the set.
