This beautiful truck had a frame off restoration several years ago. It was built for a professional basketball player. It is a beautiful truck with absolutely no rust. I have done a lot of updating to the truck, new interior at a cost of over $5,000, new Gearstar 700R4 transmission $2,600, sway bars front & rear, rack & pinion power steering, new power brake unit, front disc brake conversion, all new chrome, new Retro radio speakers & amp, new aluminum radiator and electric transmission cooler, all new stainless exhaust mufflers and headers. Truck drives and handles like a new vehicle.
Now here's the rub, I bought a brand new complete GM HI-performance 350 with full warranty from GM. I also purchased the electronic A/C system from Vintage Air along with their top of the line chrome accessory drive system. I have installed the accessory drive system on the engine, painted and detailed the engine. Shortly afterward I got sick and find myself unable to complete the installation of these items. The old 350 V8 is loose from its mounts but still in the truck. The old 350 was running good and several new accessories were added to it but I was building the truck for 100% reliability.I estimate I have somewhere near $40,000 invested in this truck. Install the new engine and A/C and you can save thousands of dollars and have a really dependable fantastic looking truck. Both the new engine and A/C system have full factory warranties.
