Yes. The motor is in the car currently. Other pics were just to show the internal enginepartsthat I call out below...
Purchased this car in November of 2002 from a gentleman in Ohio who was racing it. My intention was to convert it back to a more reliable, yet fast, street car. Motor was rebuilt in 2003 to be approximately 450 horsepower. You'll see in the pictures that the car has a 250 horsepower NOS kit on it, but the current engine has not been tuned to use it. I was planning to take it off, but kept it on mainly because it looked cool. The rebuilt motor has about 12 hours of running time on it. I rebuilt it and then moved and had the car stored in a friends multi car garage until I could come and get it. Drove it to my garage in 2006. I would drive it 20 minutes to work on an occasional sunny day Friday. In 2008, I was working on the belt alignment for thepower steering. The power steering serpentine belt would walk off under any load. Unfortunately, I experienced a job change that had me on the road more than at the house for a few years and the car has just been sitting in my garage with the power steering disassembled ever since. I'm selling the car as-is. Here is what you need to know about the car. As most others don't give full disclosure for a classic weekend project muscle car... here is mine:
Mechanical needs:
- Power steering belt alignmentkit (they make this now, but not back then)(see pic of power steering)
- Reseal water pump (from loosening power steering bolts brackets)
- Transmissionpan gasket (I have a case of trick shift and a gasket/filter that will come with the car)
- Oil change (just from sitting so long)
- Recommend rebuilding the electric fuel pump and replacing fuel filter (again from the sitting)
- Windshield wipers (I have the wipers, but the cowl hood needs to be trimmed a bit so they clear it)
- Left rear drum break caliper was leaking when I last drove it in 2008
- Rewire fuel level gauge
- Rear window; drivers side has a slow drip when I washed the car
- Speedo mph is off due to rear gear ratio; mileage isn't accurate
- Needs a new battery
Drive-traindetails:- 396 bored to a 402; line honed in 2003
- Ported cast iron heads
- ATI Super Damper Harmonic Balancer
- Holley 750 CFM Double Pumper
- MSD 6A Ignition and Blaster 2 Coil
- Roller rockers with Crane Cams stud girdles
- K&N AirFilter
- March serpentine pulley kit
- Polyurethaneengine mounts
- 4 core radiator
- I've provided a pic of cam spec sheet
- Late model mini starter; cranks over the big block without as much battery strain
- 3 inch exhaust form the headers; dumps after the rear axle (sounds amazing when running)
- Full manual valve body TH350 automatic transmission; 3500 rpm stall converter
- Hurst Quarter Stick Shifter w/ Reverse Lockout
- 12 Bolt Chevy rear with 4:56 gearratio
- Front disc brakes; rear drum
- 250 HP NOS Kit with spare bottle and 2 bottle blankets
- Trunk mounted battery
- Emergency battery cut-off switch
- Holley Electric Fuel Pump and in line filter; rear mounted w/ metal safety splash guard
Body:- GM Lemans Blue
- Fiberglass 4" Cowl Induction hood
- Body has some small blemishes (shown in pics) that I inherited when I purchased the car; ding on front passenger fender, scrape on rear taillightbezeland bumper, small paint chips on hood
- Chevy Rally Wheels
- Black Headlight "eyelids"
- Water resistant car cover that has only been used indoors
Interior:- Black with buckets
- Front race lap belts
- Aftermarket steering wheel
- Racing tachometer
- Radio and speakers are not hooked up and no antennaon the car ( believe this is becausethe prior owner was buildingit for racing and didn'tcare about these things; I just never got to it)
If I think of anything else, I will make updates and add pictures. Please don't hesitate to ask any additional questions!
