Description

1957 Chevrolet nomad.283 v, power steering,power brake car. Although the fuel injection is an original 1957 unit it does not appear to be original to the car, The 283 is stuck but does have the proper fuel injection heads and cable driven distributor.The car rolls and steers easily and the brakes work including the emergency brake.The story on the car true or false is that the car has been garaged since 1968.the previous title and tags on the car seem to support this claim.The car was hit in the drivers door and 1/4 panel.the door was replaced and the 1/4 had an amateurish repair attempt made.it was taken down to bare metal and has sat ever since.the block appears to be a 1958 or 59 .The trans is a 3 speed relocated to the floor from the column (twice) as there are 2 shifter holes.The car seems to be 100 % complete with the exception of one piece of stainless (curved small upper on the drivers side 1/4.The headlights work,the horn works,the interior lights work and I believe the blower works. there are 2 original hubcaps but the front wheels are 15 inch and the rears are mismatched 14`s.I would bet the car had a set of mags on it that were removed and these rollers put on.Original black onyx paint with black and silver interior.The car needs and deserves a full restoration,one like I`m afraid I can not give.It has alot of great points and potential.Very minimal rust.The pics will be a large part of the description.I can take pics of anything you like if given enough time. .Please ask any ?`s you have,you may call if you like 17856751197 My name is Ron.Check my feed back.The car is locted in Hoxie Ks, 67740 3.5 hours east of Denver or 5 hours west of topeka just north of I 70.
