Description

If you're looking at this, you're a knowledgeable Corvette enthusiast. Reluctantly offering my baby for sale. Frame is good. Car has some chips, scratches, and wear. Fender seams are visible on this NO hit body. It has not been 'restored'. It does have new brakes, calipers, and master cylinder. Original parts included. Carb is correct BUT not original. Original is in a box. I've known this car since the day it was delivered to the small dealership I was working at. I was the second (75-85) and fifth (98-now)owner. Chevy says 286 LT-1 Vettes were made in late 72 equipped with factory air conditioning. AC works when charged (currently isn't) Radio not working. Gas gauge isn't accurate. Reads 3/4 when tank is full. This is a true # matching survivor. Top flight judged 95%. It has been painted (should be darker with white hood stripe). Original owner had it painted BLACK within 6 months of new. There are a few things that have been lost. Including (but not limited to) key knockouts, lower ignition shielding, tank sticker, (new tank), cargo strap, and spare tire lock. Lots of documentation including ORIGINAL window sticker, owners manual, P.O.P., dealer order form, and (very rare) freight papers I got from delivery driver. I have a NOS set of PO2 hubcaps for it. Hate to part with it but age (mine) is beginning to take its toll. Haven't driven it more than 300 miles in the past 20 years. Will only accept CASH or bank transfer. Payment (even cash) must be made during normal bank hours to be verified. Bid responsibly. Legal action will be taken against any non-payment. Will not be available for pickup from October 20 till October 29. Ask questions and I'll give you a honest answer.
