Description

Selling for my brothers estate. Originally a Colorado truck bought in the late 1980's, completely stripped down to bare metal and primed with military grade etching primer. All rust cut out, sheet metal riveted in and finished. Mostly in front and behind doors and some areas at back of bed. The worst part is behind the drivers side door. Crate motor has roughly 20K miles. Newer gas tank, rebuilt manual 4 speed transmission and transfer case, new clutch, electric fan, alternator etc.. I do have the original engine fan cowl as well as the rear double jerry gas can rack(hence the holes, though I do not have the mounting bolts. Painted blue. For some reason the paint exposed to sunlight oxidized and got goofy. Interior paint and inside engine compartment looks good. After priming, the entire frame, underside and interior tub was sprayed with a black waterproofing material.
Very solid tub and frame, 4-wheel drive is perfect. If I was to buy this truck I would remove all riveted sheet metal and weld in new(new rocker panels already installed), sand and re-paint. All door posts are perfect. There is some rust at the rear bottom door corners, would need to be repaired.
The engine runs rich and rough. I replaced the Holly with an Edelbrock and no difference. May be a bad spark plug wire, spark plugs or something more, I do not have the time to investigate.
The brakes at first push are poor but if pumped a couple times work ok. I would not recommend driving very far(prefer local buyer).
The seats appear to be original but in rough shape, as is the rear seat(missing ashtrays in armrests).
If interested, must contact me before purchasing to discuss. Provide me with your phone number and email address and we can discuss before I send pictures. No exceptions.
If you have less than 10 Feedback's we need to talk before you bid. If you have any negative feedback, we need to talk before you purchase.

I believe this is one of the most solid Blazer's you will find at this price.
Again, if you want more pictures, we must talk first. This will reduce the number of people fishing for a $4K deal(Been there and done that too much). Right now I am pretty firm on price.
Thanks for looking
Bill
The VIN on the title is CKE182S100730. The VIN on the inside of the glove box is different. Not sure why though I do know that he had 2 Blazers. I believe the title VIN was from his other one which he used parts from to make this one a standard( I believe it was initially an automatic)?
IF YOU DO NOT CONTACT ME BEFORE YOU BUY, I WILL CANCEL THE PURCHASE.
