Rally sport classic original muscle car vintage numbers matching 1969 RS Used
Description
When a car is one of the most popular classics of all time with well-known qualities like timeless styling and a powerful performance image, then you don't need to be flashy about the presentation. Like powerful leaders in industry or finance, you can dress this car up in an elegant gray suit which projects a prestigious image, and the power held within will be known and understood. Check out this nicely dressed, numbers matching, 327ci Camaro. Of-course the distinguishing feature, and the object of desire for so many Camaro aficionado's, is the upgraded hideaway headlights in the grill. Between their rotating doors is a black grill, trimmed in chrome, with an RS badge in the center. It is underlined by a pencil thin chrome bumper with fog lights and a deep chin spoiler below it. Before a drop of that beautiful Silver paint was applied, the panels were prepped and aligned properly for a neat, clean look. Then the Black rally stripes were run up the cowl induction hood and continued on the trunk and rear spoiler. In between, the black vinyl roof is a great look which gives the car a longer, lower look from the side. A bit of chassis rake is also evident from the side letting you know the car has a bit of attitude to it also. 327 and Camaro in script appear on the front fender, and RS appears again on the rear over another simple, clean bumper with a couple chrome exhaust tips peeking out from underneath it. Open the door and you will find a Black interior that has been redone nicely. The door panel sets the tone with a simple and clean look of a horizontal pattern in the center surrounded by thin chrome piping with another slash of it across the top. Recovered high back bucket seats have pleated seating surfaces and smooth side bolsters and are quite comfortable. There is a deep dish, three-spoke wheel with a bowtie center button sitting in front of a stock dash with two additions. There is an auxiliary Bosch water temperature gauge to keep accurate tabs on that critical engine function, and a Sony head unit that is an FM/CD/iPod compatible stereo system for your listening pleasure. There is a nice console between the seats and the horseshoe shifter for the automatic transmission rises out of the wood grained forward section of it. Recovered back seats as well as a neat and clean headliner and new carpeting complete the look nicely. Open the hood and you will find a nicely dressed, numbers matching 327 cubic inch motor nestled down in a neat and clean engine bay. There is a chrome air topper with a 327 Turbo Fire sticker on it. That feeds an Edelbrock carburetor and polished intake. An HEI ignition system gets good spark to the cylinders and chrome long tube headers get the spent gasses out and heading down to Flowmaster mufflers. Chrome valve covers with Chevrolet embossed and painted in black as well as a bowtie in orange provide a splash of flash as does the chrome alternator, master cylinder and brakes booster. Power is sent back through a 2-speed Powerglide transmission to a 10-bolt rear end. There are new suspension parts throughout as well as power steering providing good handling and front disc brakes assuring good stopping abilities. The rubber meets the road through 255/60R15 BFGoodrich Radial T/As mounted on 5 spoke alloys with gray centers and polished edges. A well know classic car. Especially good looking in Silver and Black, and especially prestigious as it is a numbers matching RS 327. Come on down and check this car out.
