Description

This ground up restoration and V8 Chevy swap performed by former President of the CT Hot-rod association, and myself. >500 miles on engine and drive train since build. Autobody work and paint performed by professional autobody tech. Paint is showroom quality. Over $6000 in on body work and paint. Cowl hood, blue racing stripe through and through with ghost flames. 350 CSB bored .030" over to 355.115 cubic inches, comp street cam, 650cfm DP, summit dual plane intake, headers, true duals, 700r4 tranny w/ shift kit, B&M pro-Ratchet shifter installed, autometer tach w/ shift light, new carpeting, engine just tuned today somewhat. Total timing was retarded, and although truck could easily lay 200 ft of rubber, I have not taken it out to further dial in the total timing (I set it to 13-14 degrees, somewhat conservatively) 16 degrees should get me to 36-38 total timing mechanical advance. Throttle response is now very sharp. Does not bog down. Half throttle pulls burn rubber on 1-2nd shifts. On a hot 90 degree day, cruising 35mph and idling at the gas station while fueling, does not get engine running hot at all. Temp never reached 210 degrees. Even driving around less than HW speed, I never had to turn the aux fans on as temp gauge never reached 210. Total power output is unknown, but can guarantee from experience after slight carb tuning we are minimally in 335hp territory, with massive torque. Everything is new. I went through this truck meticulously. Custom dash with matching autometer gauges going in shortly. Engine compartment to be dressed up. Included is a set of 18" custom Ridley wheels, 8" width rims should accommodate a 9.5" tire on the rear just fine. Truck is making so much power, getting it to the pavement is what I aim to do via adding cal-tracs and doing a rear end job. Many parts included. Glass all around, 2 factory gauge clusters, fuel sender, steering column, interior trim panels...etc New carpeting. Looking for black floor mats with blue chevy bowtie to accent the racing strip. Tints are being re-done professionally. Engine compartment to be dressed up. Truck is a head turner. Rear was dropped 3" to level the truck. Larger (new) fuel tank installed. Truck bed has been bedlined. Looking for a quality bed cover. All this, including 18" rims included. Brand new U-joints fitted on a Chevelle driveshaft 1/2" shorter to fit perfectly with the 3" drop. Truck is a head turner. You will certainly enjoy! Plenty of power! Front end is tight. This is a brand new, old truck, turned street machine. I am continuing to dress this truck, please feel free to contact me for questions if you are a serious inquirer. Bed cover to be installed shortly. When complete, and as of right now, I am in between 3:73 or 4:10 rear end gears. Because it is a 4sp lockout, highways speeds aren't not as excessive as one may think. 2500rpm 65-70mph. 3:73s, 2200 perhaps over the freeway. A meager 50 shot of NOS will easily put this into the 10sec 1/4 mile, after traction bars dialed in. And it is still perfectly streetable. Many hours put in, this is a very clean, very well built S10 with a crazy paint job, build by top guys in the HotRod scene. I will include more specs shortly. Happy looking.
