1953 (47-54) Chevy truck 3100 - Turn Key

Under the hood is strong running Small Block Chevy 350 (sbc 350) with a performance camshaft and Holley 750 CFM carburetor. Engine is mated to a TH400 three speed transmission which sends power to a Ford 8.8 Explorer Rear axle outfitted with disk brakes, 3.73 gears and limited slip differential.

Front Suspension is a C4 corvette suspension held in place byFlat out Engineering cross member and Aldin Coil Overs. Rear suspension is formTotal Cost Involved (TCI) a new parabolic leaf spring suspension. Both front and rear suspensions make for a comfortable, smooth handling truck that is fun in the corners.

The trucks interior has been stripped of all the old paint and dirt and repainted in a Beige to compliment the trucks original color of Sun Beige from the factory. All glass and its rubber gaskets are new and seal the outside noise and elements away from the driver.

This truck stops well as it is four-wheel disk brakes with all new hard lines ran to each caliper from the brake booster mounted on the fire wall.

The exhaust note is low and rumbles from dual flow master 40’s mufflers that exit the side of the truck from below the running boards just in front of the rear tire.

The truck has a new electrical system installed throughout and works excellent to provide fuse protected circuits to all electrical components.. Truck stays cool with an excellent flowing radiator and electric fan to draw cool air in while truck sits and idles at temperature.

Truck was built in Montana and comes equipped with a plug in engine heater that will insure an easy start in the coldest of weather.

Brand new tires on 18” Riddler wheels hold the road and give the truck a nice stance of about 8-9” off the ground at the base of the running boards. The truck bed has been reconditioned with new rear sill and stake pockets as well as all new bed wood strips of stainless steel. The boards are oak, stained and sealed a Mocha color stain and clear exterior seal.

This truck has a functional upgraded 12v heater blower motor that works great. A lot of these trucks are sold with out heaters as they were an add-on from the factory. Drive in warm comfort while the windows stay clear and defrosted. This truck is old and will make a clang or a clunk once in a while but rest assured it is a solid well designed resto-mod that is a pleasure to drive. Time and attention to detail were taken during the build of this truck.
