Description

Up for sale is my 55 Chevy 210 4DOOR sedan, reason it didn't sell in the previous auction, is because the buyer does not know how to read the description. The car has 110000 original miles and a clean Oregon title. The car just finished up its minor restoration in January of this year. It has a brand-new interior setting me back about $7,000. Which includes the sanding of the floorboards, the rust stabilization (surface rust only), and the repaint of the floorplans in a baby blue color. Brand new carpet in a lighter teal color along with new carpet in the trunk. New door panels and handles. The window trim along with the dashboard were painted in a darker blue and coated with 4 coats of clear coat on top. The dashboard was completely rewired and the bulbs were replaced with LEDs keeping everything stock but looking a lot brighter. The car has brand new seats, seatbelts, headliner and sun visors along with a new LED dome light helping to keep the cabin bright at night. The car also has a glovebox mounted Alpine stereo and two 6” speakers in the kick panels, enabling you to make hands free phone calls and listen to music via Bluetooth but keeping an original look. The exterior has the “patina-look” but without the rust because it was originally an Arizona vehicle. The only rust the vehicle has is a quarter sized hole behind the rear bumper. The entire car was professionally painted in a gloss clear coat keeping the car in the state that it is in. the brightwork is mainly original, keeping the patina look. All of the exterior lights have been replaced with ultra-bright LEDs, making the car easier to see during day and night, And the headlights are crazy bright! All of the door glass has been replaced with new including all of the window felt and the rubber door seals. The engine is the standard 235ci inline 6, with a fresh top end rebuild. And a tune-up including a new plugs, wires, distributor, rebuilt carburetor and tuned, new air filter, new fuel filter, new fluids, new oil filter, new gas tank, cleaned the fuel lines, new battery, re painted most of the parts. The engine runs super strong with no lack in power, and the 3 speed shifts smooth and has plenty of clutch left. As brakes and suspension go, the rear has a new set of 2” drop leaf springs and bushings, the front has 2.5” drop springs and bushings. All 4 corners have new shock absorbers keeping the ride stiff and handles like its on rails (for a 55 Chevy). As brakes go, the car currently has the original drum brake set up with new shoes, and the fluid flushed and re- bled. The exhaust is new with a flow master cherry bomb, and resonator exhaust tips, making it sound throaty enough for me, and honestly like a V8.I can end the auction whenever i want for whatever reason i have. please understand that the vehicle isnt perfect and will always need a little bit of work, as almost 99% of classic cars are, also make sure you have the money when bidding!! and finally, im willing to coordinate with you if or when it is time to ship the vehicle, but im not coordinating the shipping, no am i paying for shipping expenses. i do require a non-refundable $1000 down payment within 24hours of the auction ending, just to make sure whoever is bidding is serious about purchasing the vehicle. if i don't receive full payment within 7 days, i will relist the vehicle for sale and you will not get your $1000 back.Happy Bidding! feel free to shoot me a text at 503 750 2805 with any questions.
