With a period correct Edelbrock 350 V8, original leather interior, and the beautiful paint, this 1969 Chevrolet Nova coupe is a restored custom-built classic for an affordable price.
The first thing you notice on this coupe is the blue paint. The color has such a nice metallic element that it gives the impression of beauty in the sunlight. This is what you get with an investment upgrade in a modern clearcoat paint. The shining color is a reflection of this Nova's more athletic attitude. You can see it in other areas, too, like the factory wide horizontal grille and gleaming chrome bumpers. But what really gives it a demanding presence are the custom elements like the cowl induction hood and large 17-inch Center Line wheels.
Inside is a fully original interior. This Nova's interior is a stock basic blue with a vinyl bench seats, but you'd never know that today. Everything else is original, including the door panels, carpeting, and headliner. Plus, now you not only have buckets up front, but also in between them is the 4-speed transmission so that you can get the full effect of this Nova SS. It had originally came with a 3 -speed, so this is an upgrade. You sit behind a later model Chevy steering wheel, and the driver-oriented layout gives you a newer gauge package, provisions for air conditioning, and an AM/FM/CD stereo with upgraded speakers.
Under the hood is a period correct Chevy 350 cubic-inch motor, but this one benefits from a 2 bbl carburetor and 750 double pumper on it the heads have over sized intake valve, the heads where redone but the motor was not touched. That means this V8 is very reliable to just hop in, fire up, and go for a drive. We can tell this was restored to truly be a great anywhere/anytime machine. After all, with features like power steering, power brakes, posi Rear End, and GM's 4L80E four-speed manual transmission and aluminum bell housing, you can eat up the miles with ease.
