1975 Vega hatchback Chris Alston Chassis Works full frame tubbed project car. Needs to be finished. Looking for a good home!
Built from a very nice nearly rust free 1975 Vega hatchback. Professionally media blasted prior to a custom full frame build! Lot's of pictures and documentation which will be included with the sale of the car.
Pro Street or drag. 383 stroker, Holley 750, Hamburg carb spacer, Weiand Team G single plane intake manifold, Dart Pro-1 heads, Moroso electric high flow water pump, 700R4 transmission with Corvette servos, Hurst Quarter Stick shifter, narrowed 12 bolt custom build with Ford ends (no C-clips), Auburn gear, posi, Moser 31 spline, clear diff cover (from DTS in Michigan), full halo cage. 4 link rear with adjustable coilovers / panhard, adjustable coilovers front with Pinto rack. Wilwood Dynalite disc brakes front and rear. Weld drag wheels, Hoosier DR2 P275/50R15 drag radials, Mickey Thompson Sportsman SR 24X5.00R15LT radial front runners.
Beautiful deep paint. Color is PPG straight red with many coats of clear. Color matched engine and trans. Everything on the car is new, NOS, or refinished. New glass all around, windows roll up and down, new door panels from SMS Fabrics, all rubber products new from Steele Rubber Products. New 6" tall L-88 fiberglass hood (not finished as it's not been fitted yet). Header panel, grill and headlight bucket all NOS. Side markers and gas fill door filled.
AutoMeter Phantom gauges.. roll bar mounted. Painless pro street wiring kit w/switch box mounted on upper hoop. I have all wiring, break lines, fuel lines, fuel pump, fuel filter, regulator, 18 gallon black steel fuel cell, Kirkey seat with padded seat cover and mounting brackets, 5 point harness (not expired), remote Taylor battery box, all MDS components (6A box, Pro Billet crab top distributor, Blaster SS coil). New fiberglass front and rear bumpers, front and rear valance panels (front used, rear NOS). Tall polished aluminum K&N air filter assembly. Tall polished velocity stack air filter included as an option. Second set of new tall polished aluminum valve covers. Pair of new K&N valve cover breathers. Large Autometer speedometer and mounting pod included but not mounted.
I have NOS chrome headlight trim bezels and headlight mounts which I will install next week. You see passenger side taillight and front parking/turn assemblies... these are NOS... I've not found driver side assemblies to date.
I have second set new set of Hoosier DR2 P325/50R15 drag radials mounted on new Weld street rims... larger set than what's currently mounted on the car. Fills the un-modified body wheel well openings.

You will need to purchase a starter, radiator, drive shaft (loop built in frame), flywheel, torque converter, headers, master cylinder and pedals. Minor other items :)
Currently a roller and includes expensive Cover Craft Dustop cover. I'll tie the spindles together so it rolls better. Set of 4 tire dollies as pictured included!

Headers would be a personal choice... not knowing how you are to use the car... could be custom build out through the lower fenders or off the shelf block huggers for street out the back
Steering is currently fabricated for drag and only requires welding. If street, then the current set up needs removal and a standard steering column installed. The new Pinto rack needs to be shortened (cut & weld)
Brakes... needs a master cylinder... I have everything else to complete
