1970 chevrolet nova ss

Real 1970 ss with 350hp 396 engine.

With documentation to show this.

All numbers matching car.

400 Transmission automatic.

12 bolt posi traction rear end.

52000 original miles.

All original minus a few upgrades. That I did when I got the car.

All new stainless custom bent and welded exhaust

System. With H pipe and flow master mufflers Sounds awesome.

The original factory dual exhaust was a little rusty. Not bad by any means but small and was really quiet sounding.

Newer 15"rims and radial Tires.

Rides much nicer than the bias ply Tires that were on it.

Tubular controll arms and slotted rotors.

Led headlights to see better at night.

plugs, wires, cap, rotor and points was also replaced with new ones. not that they were bad just wanted new ones.

But I do have all the (original) parts that I replaced

Like:

plugs, wires, points belt control arms, calipers and headlights etc. All boxed up and will come with the sale of the car.

The coolant hoses on the car are still the originals from 1970 and in great shape.

The headers were installed from the first owner when the car was new so I do not have the original manifolds. I wish I did.

It was repainted in 1973 to candy Red.

per. The previous 2nd owner by house of color in mpls mn.

not the greatest paint has fading and lacquer cracks but looks good for as old as it is 46 years.

Original color was #75 cranberry red per the cowl tag.

THE BAD:

does have a little rust bubbles on rear fenders not bad and still varry solid and not through he metal.

mostly the paint came off when it was pressure washed. And now the wax stuck on the metal.

And driver rear floor pan Had some rust about 3 inches by 6 inches but that has ben patched.

Has a small outward facing dent in the rear quarter panel passenger side from a jack sliding in the trunk. From the previous owner.

Driver side seat has a rip at the bottom and one seam pulling apart.

You can see the tape on the picture.

And a ding in the front hood lip above the driver headlight which also put a small dent in the chrome trim there as well.

Previous owner does not remember how that happened.??

Other than that it is a very solid

Original ss car which runs drives and looks awesome.

Car #s

114270w151036

Engine#10w151036

Trans#70-0f-1652

Rear end #cbs1009g2

All these numbers match the original 1970 chevrolet pre-delivery service and adjustment check sheet found in the glove box with original owners manual.

I could not find the protecto plate in the car.??

Or the build sheet.??

It may be above the head liner.???? As it sounds like there is a piece of paper up there when you tap on the head liner.

A LITTLE HISTORY FACTS:

I do not know the first original owner.

I am the 3rd owner of this car.

The previous owner owner #2 who I purchased the car from.

my neighbor and a family friend.

He purchased the car used in 1972 from a Chevrolet dealer on lake street in mpls Mn.

And then had it painted candy red in 1973 and put slot mags on it with bias ply Tires.

Which I sold to purchase the 15 inch rally wheels and tires.

The car originally had 14 inch wheels I was told.

The car was daily driven for a few years. From 1972 till 1975

And was parked in 1975 in a garage with a tarp under it and not touched till May/19/2018 when I purchased it and pulled it out.

That's 44 years.

YEP YOU READ THAT Right.

Not Touched for 44 years.

So much dust on it you could barely tell it was red in color.

Runs and drives great with no issues and no visible leaks. I have personally only put about 200 or so miles on it and drives very well.

Compression is 180psi on all cylinders.

If you want an original here it is.

They can only be original once.

Just appraised low low cash value 25000.00 for today's market by a professional appraiser. With 30 years experience.

He raited it a conservative #4 car in the condition it's in.

This would be a 50,000.00 70,000.00 if rotisserie restored as the comparables show on the appraisal.

Not much to do if someone wanted to make it a #1 car as the car is complete and original.

Asking 29000.00 or real offers cash in person when picked up.
