This Impala still retains it's FACTORY ORIGINAL dash mounted Chevrolet VIN tag and the FACTORY ORIGINAL - firewall mounted Chevrolet data plate, both of which are shown in pictures below. This is a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Idaho - High Mountain Desert western car and it shows !! I drove this Impala Convertible for the last several weeks as my daily driver and I assure you it runs and drives VERY WELL !! It is a sweet driver in town and cruises down the freeway at modern speeds easily and smoothly. Sounds GREAT too with the factory style exhaust system. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH !! - REBUILT !! - Three speed - "TH350" - Turbo Hydra-Matic - automatic transmission that also functions very well !! The BEAUTIFUL !! - Code "866" - Carmine Red Cloth Impala interior is in NICE !! condition including a NICE Carmine Red Cloth front seat with dual factory headrests, VERY NICE NEW Red carpeting, NICE Matching Carmine Red Cloth and Vinyl door panels, NICE ORIGINAL Factory gauge cluster, VERY NICE Custom steering wheel, NICE Carmine Red Cloth rear seat and a VERY NICE Carmine Red Vinyl dash pad !! The BRAND NEW !! - Code "A" - White power convertible top is also in VERY NICE condition and sports a VERY NICE Carmine Red Vinyl boot cover. All of the black rubber weatherstripping is in good condition. The door and trunk weatherstripping is NEW.
