What started life as a beautiful 1968 RS/SS Camaro Coupe has been turned into an exceptional build with many modern touches to make this Camaro extremely fun, safe and easy to drive and not to mention its power with excellent V8 soundtrack. The previous owner purchased the car with many of... its resto-modded accoutrements in 2014, which included its Sequoia Green paint, Black Vinyl interior and Houndstooth seat inserts, 383ci stroker V8 with Dart Iron Eagle heads, Edelbrock RPM Airgap intake with Demon 825 cfm carburetor, 8-quart oil pan with high volume oil pump, 5-speed Tremec manual transmission, Vintage Air with electronic controls, Electronic HVAC controls, 2-inch seat extender tracks, 3-point Morris seat belts, Alpine stereo head unit with 12-inch JL Audio subwoofer, C5 Corvette disc brakes, Hydroboost brake setup with Wilwood master cylinder and proportioning valve, Magnaflow mufflers, Radiator with twin SPAL fans with 170 degree thermostat, firewall smoothed and painted body color, DSE electric headlight door openers with aluminum Moser cover. Since the previous owner's purchase in 2014, the Camaro has undergone additional improvements all performed by Bert Mota of JSS Performance in Mineola, NY and who has recently joined forces with Autosport Designs, Inc. Such improvements are all documented with full service receipts and include the following: A full 383 V8 engine rebuild, carburetor was replaced with Edelbrock E-Street Fuel Injection system, MSD ignition, front and rear suspension completely reworked with Hotchkiss Stage 2 kit with new control arms, sway bars and coil springs, upgraded steering to rack and pinion, new power steering hoses, new tie rods, new clutch master and slave cylinder, new rear glass, electronic parking brake, retrofit new glovebox (to accommodate new HVAC unit), H4 headlights, replaced differential with limited slip, installed a Nardi wood steering wheel, among other improvements. Also fitted during ownership was custom 18 inch Rennen forged wheels. The entire front and sides of the car are covered with clear shield paint protection film. This Camaro has been fully vetted and fully serviced and is ready for immediate driving and touring pleasure. What was once an older muscle car tricky to use in the modern era, is now a superb, easy to use modern resto-mod ready for every-day use, nightly dinners or the weekend cruise and car shows. One chance behind the wheel of this Camaro will justify its condition, build quality and extreme performance that is also docile around town.
