1964 Chevy Corvette Stingray Convertible ,Resto-mod Project or Return to Stock !

MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN, I HAVE FOR SALE A 1964 CORVETTE STINGRAY CONVERTIBLE . I HAVE OWNED THIS VETTE FOR MANY YEARS AND MY INTENTION WAS TO BUILD A RESTO-MOD . SOMETIMES LIFE GETS IN THE WAY OF GOOD INTENTIONS AS I HAVE TO MANY PROJECTS AND HOBBIES AND I HAVE BEEN SELLING OFF SOME OF MY CARS AND I HAVE A FEW LEFT AND THIS VETTE IS ONE OF THEM. LAST YEAR I HAD AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM UNDER THE DASH AS I WAS STARTING I NOTICED SOME SMOKE COMING UP FROM UNDER DASH. I THEN STOPPED CRANKING ENGINE BECAUSE I ASSUMED IT WAS AN INLINE FUSE OR OLD WIRING. I HAVE NOT SINCE TRIED TO START AGAIN BECAUSE OF TOO MANY THINGS GOING ON IN MY LIFE AND I HAD PLANNED TO REPLACE WIRING ECT. ANYWAY. THE FOLLOWING WILL BE A BREAK DOWN OF WHAT I KNOW ABOUT THIS VETTE; THIS VETTE HAS ALWAYS BEEN GARAGED AND NEVER IN RAIN OR SNOW or in below freezing conditions !
BODY; The body is as seen in my pictures if you want a Great Start to a Resto-mod or to bring back to stoc, this is your car ! This car came from California hence the under carriage is very nice . You will notice the front end clip is from a 1967 Vette and a 1966 Big Block Hood . Also has the three tail lights in the rear witch I love and this was not uncommon in California as dealers offered this as an option ( Jan & Dean )! The convertible top is in very good condition as seen in pictures. All glass is present and the only thing needed is the passenger side wing window needs a new crank assembly of witch is readily available, my Grand kids when they were young loved getting into the Vette cranking the window vents : )
INTERIOR ; Again as seen in my pictures is in very good condition ! The High Back Corvette seats in one of my pictures are included. I had then in car but never made the modification to seat to bolt down .
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION ; Is a 454 upgrade, still new with less than 4000 miles barely broke in when I purchased, it is a thick Block ( 14015445 ) last in the 1990 454SS Truck, 4-bolt main, forged crank ARP Studs ect. Manifold ( 3963569 ) is from an LS6 Aluminum 1970-71 Corvette. Exhaust Manifolds Corvette ( 3880827-28 ). Big Holley 4-Barrel High Performance Carb ! Trans is a 4/11 Muncie ! Exhaust is a 4-way system with side pipes and Dual Back Mufflers !
PAINT; The paint is not perfect and again I was going to repaint . There are some chips here and there and some fading on rear quarter from light coming through garage window witch I think could be brought back and buffed out if desired . The color is a red/orange !TIRES ; NEW !
The plan for my project was to upgrade suspension add a Barry Grant Tri-power manifold or go electronic intake add a Digital Dash and new wirin, New Paint and some body mods ! I had planned on selling the original suspension, brake and aluminum intake to finance some of my upgrades . I think it will be hard to find another 1964 project car in this kind of condition for what I'm asking if you can do most of your own work ! NO WARRANTY IMPLIED WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET !
PS: I also have original 1964 Owners Manual and paper work ! May include extra New parts if good deal is made ? All questions Welcome !
