Description

I have up for sale my 1972 real short box C-10. This truck is in pristine condition. Now for the details. This truck was bought by me in the later 90's from an ad in the Round Up magazine. The truck came from a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia, with 46,000 original miles. It was powered by a 307 cubic inch and 3-speed manual transmission. The truck was in fantastic shape and I was very happy with it. It was perfectly, straight and the box and tailgate looked like they only hauled groceries in it. The metal bed floor required no dent repairs. I drove it as a daily driver for the summer then decided to spruce her up a bit. We tore the truck down to the frame and blasted and painted everything. After that everything was rebuilt as-needed. The truck features a 2 inch and 3 inch drop with "Bell Tech" spindles and springs with drilled front rotors for the disc brakes. The rear was set up with a 3.73 posi. At this time, I also installed a 1-piece drive shaft. The wheels are polished Americans 8 X 15 inch in front and 10 X 15 inch in the back. Tires are Firestone Firehawks 235-70 front, 275-60 in the rear. The truck was factory red or (orange) with a white top with no side trim. Seeing I was quite a fan of these trucks I had access to virtually any NOS parts I needed. I switched it to a 2- tone paint job using only NOS GM parts on every bit of side trim, mirrors, lenses, grille, grille-surround, mirrors, door handles and even the bed rails were new in the box. The truck is all original sheet metal that required no rust repair of any kind. The paint and body work are a 10 out of 10 with not a flaw anywhere. I took liberties with the extra chrome and anodizing of the hood and the tailgate hinges, latches, glove box, ashtray and various other pieces. Added options are GM tilt-column, tach dash, '67- 8 buddy bucket seats, Clarion AM-FM CD stereo with a "Highline" headliner with integrated speakers. The truck also has a Vintage Air conditioning system that works great. The engine is a GM ZZ3 new crate motor with a new Quadrajet carb, MSD billet distributor, Sanderson cast headers with turbo mufflers, a March serpentine belt system and Corvette valve covers. The trans is a rebuilt turbo 350 with shift- kit. The truck runs out and drives perfectly, it's like a new truck. The original mileage now is 53,102 with about 1,000 miles put on since restoration

I have supporting 'before' pictures and 'actual' pictures of the restoration process to verify. This truck is ready to start winning car shows or just having fun with it right now! This truck needs absolutely nothing but a new owner. If you have any questions, I can be reached at (5 zero 7) 4 five 6-2 nine 5 seven. Good luck bidding!
