Description

Hello and thanks for looking! Selling our Chevelle Convertible after owning it for 14 years. It's been a great car for us and can be for you as well. I will start with the body, one of most solid Chevelle convertibles around. When we purchased it, we installed new carpet and the floor looked great except about 3 spots the size of a quarter which I welded up. There is some rust starting on the right quarter panel (see photo). The vehicle was repainted according the invoice we found back in 1984, paint is okay. A new GM left quarter panel and fender were installed at that time. The lead seam has a few cracks on the left side (see photo). We installed the SS stripe to dress it up a little. A few chips and scratches on the vehicle, nothing major. Trunk floor looks great, I splatter painted it when we bought it. Our cooler leaked one daycreating some light surface rust under the mat. Also installed a new windshield about 2 years ago.

The 307 engine runs great, has a few typical small leaks from the rear main and valve covers. We checked the numbers on the engine block, not original to the vehicle. Does not use oil and I believe to have been rebuilt.Has a turbo 350 transmission which shifts great. The rear end I'm guessinghas 273 - 308 gears and will run down the interstate all day at 80 mph. We also installed a new fuel tank, belts, hoses, front disk brakes, radiator, rally wheels and BF Goodrich tires. Just put a new battery in it last month. Not a power house, but always starts and runs great. I believe the odometer is correct.

The interior is original and in pretty good condition. Crack in the dash and steering wheel. Someone installed new material in the drivers lower area, color matches great. We do not have the top boot.

Convertible top is power and raises and lowers as it should. A little wear on the drivers side upper rear glass area (see photo).

Overall, a great car a ready to have fun in.

I will not end the auction early and do not need help selling. Scammers please die!!
