Description

Rotisserie Restored Camaro SS Restomod 480hp 427ci V8 4-speed AC 4 wheel disc /// Fully sorted and ready for years of endless cruising, this real-deal Camaro Super Sport is the beneficiary of a thorough rotisserie restoration. Once the coupe's body was massaged to better-than-new condition, a brilliant coat of correct Rallye Green 2-stage paint was accented with white Super Sport fender stripes. And today, the car rolls as one very well done classic that's ready to be the center of... attention both on the road and at the show. Under the hood, 427 cubic inches of GM Performance Parts ZZ427 crate motor twists stout 10.1 to 1 compression into 480 horsepower and 490 lb./ft. of pavement-busting torque. Behind that buff big block, a tough Hurst shifter linkage kicks a storied Muncie 'Rock Crusher'. That 4-speed twists power to a 12-bolt rear end, which spins a posi-traction differential around stout, 3.73 gears. Beneath that drivetrain, a completely rebuilt suspension cages Hotchkis coil springs and welded Detroit Speed subframe connectors between colorful Bilsteins and a thick Hotchkis sway bar. That suspension is led by traditional power steering. Stops are provided by four power-assisted calipers, which squeeze four drilled and slotted rotors. Charred dinosaurs float through a 2.5-inch Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust system, which positions chambered 80 Series mufflers behind an H-shaped crossover. And torque transitions to pavement through chromed American Racing Torq Thrust IIs and Nitto NT555 Extreme ZRs. Between the doors, TMI-upholstered seats, which feature Deluxe headrests, frame a factory console that's fitted with a Hurst shifter. A pliable, crack-free dash frames Deluxe telemetry. And in front of the driver, a wood-rimmed steering wheel laps a tilting column. When it comes to muscle cars, it's hard to go wrong with ANY classic that's named Camaro.
