BIG BLOCK 454 V8 FI TECH FUEL INJECTION TH350 P/S P/B COLD A/C READY TO GO
Description
The 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle is already desirable for being one of the best street machines of the muscle car era. And this one has an upgraded attitude everywhere you look: from the tint on the windows to the fuel-injected big block under the hood. And when this mean machine also has ice-cold A/C, you know you've found your hardtop of distinction.
This one started out life as Autumn Gold, but that was too nice-guy for a sinister machine like this. The upgrade to Burnt Orange later in life has a darker tone that fits this one nicely. Plus, the color complements the features such as the blacked-out SS grille, tinted windows, and full-length black SS painted stripe package. This performance attitude continues on the proper cowl induction hood, hood pins, and all the Super Sport badging. There's plenty of bright style within the speed thanks to bright trim and form-fitting chrome bumpers that shine like mirrors. And this package of brightwork and performance is united nicely by those polished Torq Thrust alloys.
The perfect complement to the black trim on the outside is a black vinyl interior. This has been comprehensively converted from tan, and so that means everything (carpets, door panels, headliner, seats, etc.) feels quite fresh, because it is. The result is a great place to spend some seat time. In fact, when you slip the driver's bucket, your left hand will love the grippy sports steering wheel on the tilt column, and your right one is instantly attracted to the iconic horseshoe shifter in the center console. You get the correct full round gauge set as well as crisp auxiliary readouts under the dash so you constantly know what's going on with the monster motor. But the right Chevelle is also about staying comfortable, too. So this one has the best upgrades from enjoying the road, like a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner and air conditioning blowing cold with modern R134a.
It's always a source of pride to lift the hood and see big block power. This 454 cubic-inch V8 is a mighty motor, but not all are created equal. The FI Tech fuel injection system means a steady power delivery for better all-around performance. And speaking of performance, you also have more great upgrades, like an Edelbrock Performer 2.0 intake, HEI distributor, and a Flowmaster dual exhaust. And as you dig into the details you'll see a thoughtful presentation that includes an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans (it'll help keep this big block running cool even if you're in traffic with the A/C pumping.) In fact, this makes for a fine all-around cruiser with features like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes w/discs up front.
This is the right mix of upgrades to make an icon look aggressive and feel comfortable. So it's a total package hardtop you need to get your hand on right now. Call today!!!
