The original restoration of this numbers matching car, was in '93-'94 and became a trailered car to shows in the U.S. The car is now driven to local car shows in favourable weather. This car has been restored to it's original condition including, paint, trim, interior and underside using NOS parts and accessories. The only reproduction parts are the correct date stamped Gelcell battery, Coker Classic tires and stainless steel exhaust with resonators.The car was assembled in Van Nuys, California the first week of December '62, having tuxedo black paint, SS trim and black interior and white convertible top, as per the original Cowltag.The engine is a 327 V8 with a 2-speed powerglide trans having the SS console with floor shift.The car is rumored to have been bought by Sonny Bono in December '62 for Cher,althoughshe has not responded toinquiriesto confirm.Everything is functional, including new hydraulic pump and rams for the top, that has been recently installed. The top has only been put down once to avoid creasing!Unfortunatelyletting this beauty go due to downsizing.
