Description

This 1974 Chevrolet Corvette is an update and an upgrade on a true classic. It has the Stingray style you love in a package with extra power and flair. So check out everything from the yellow metallic paint to the performance stroker V8, and you'll realize there were big investments in this coupe to make sure it was memorable from every angle.
The paint is going to instantly grab your attention. Chevrolet offered a bright yellow in '74, but it never had a metallic element, too. So you've got a color that's vibrant enough to practically glow in the dark, and there's also enough sparkle to radiate during the day. That's the recipe for a truly awesome ride. And the custom elements don't end there. The custom hood with sporty scoop signals something special in the engine bay (more on that in a moment,) and the side pipes may just be the only thing that grabs more attention than the paint. It's all done a car that looks, straight, clean, and proudly presented. So the first impression is always a powerful Corvette worthy of extra distinction.
Black and yellow will forever be an ideal combo, so you'll happily take out the T-tops to share this midnight interior with the world. The high-back leather bucket seats are both stylish and comfortable, and the rest of the full dark package have the proper look of respect you want on clean classic like this. There are nice features like power windows, a tilt/telescopic steering column, and plenty of wood-like trim. The air conditioning is even running modern R134a (it likely just needs a recharge to blow ideally cold again.) But your favorite feature will just be the high-octane tune that's unique to this Stingray, and it happens every time you twist the key.
Under the hood is proper V8 power in a shining presentation. The air grabber, alternator, ribbed valve covers, and more give plenty of polish to this tidy setup. It's an era-correct block that's even believed to be original to the car. But what you'll really love are the big investments to get the performance waaaaay over stock. The 350 cubic-inch V8 is now a 383 stroker motor. It's a forged Eagle rotating assembly with Keith Black pistons, 10.64:1 compression, a Lunati flat tappet 60103 cam, Dart pro alum heads, Comp Cams roller rockers, Edelbrock RPM aluminum intake, and topped with an Edelbrock 800 CFM four-barrel carburetor. It's also supported by the right pieces, like an HEI ignition and aluminum radiator with electric fans. There's reportedly less than 1,000 miles on this motor build, and so it's a strong-running enhanced power pack. Plus, it fires up with a terrific growl as the long tube headers add power and rumble to those side pipes. The stout TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is the numbers-matching unit, but now it has been rebuilt with a 2600-2800 stall to keep you in an ideal powerband. As you look underneath, you're reminded that this has the advantage of a fully independent suspension, and you'll even spot some newer bushings. There's also power steering, wide BF Goodrich T/As, and four-wheel power disc brakes to give you firm control over this extra-power Vette.
Complete with build receipts and the owner's manual, this is the classic Stingray built with the best enhancements you truly want in America's sports car. So if you want to be memorable tomorrow, you need to call today!
