Description

This 1972 Chevrolet Suburban has been restored to really offer it all. It has a custom extra-long body that has been upgraded with show-ready details, there's a powerful crate V8 under the hood, an extra comfy air ride suspension, and you're going to spot all the best comfort features in the custom A/C interior. It's even set up to tow the toys, too. So it's amazing a unique and thoughtful build is also offered for an obtainable price.

We love the two-tone metallic paint. Tangerine Pearl and Sparkle Silver have brilliant names to showcase a brilliant shine. There's even a purple sponged graphic with green, blue, and orange pinstripes to provide an intricate dividing line between the two-tone. It instantly signals this is a thoughtful build, and it's far from your only custom detail. Up front, the grille shows an extra clean presentation, and it has been recessed a bit so you can really see it meld into the custom front bumper that's seamlessly molded to the body. In the rear, you'll see the that they added three inches over the already long look of the Suburban. It was so the hatch of a later-model Escalade could be integrated for custom/sleek look that also gives you a proper tailgate for enjoying events. There are more great details, like shaved door handles, Escalade roof rack, Lexus side mirrors, and an adjustable air ride suspension that gives you the ideal stance for the street or parking at the car show.

Pop the remote door openers, and you'll instantly see how much custom work went into this Chevy's interior. The seats are custom upholstered version of Escalade units, so it has a terrific look and serious modern bolstering. The front buckets even have individual armrests and power adjust to your ideal position. There's also power windows, power locks, an alarm, Dynamat insulation, and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. We especially love the center console that's color-matched to the exterior (including pinstriping) and nicely integrates controls and cup holders. You may have also noticed a huge technology upgrade. This has an AM/FM/DVD infotainment interface that includes a backup camera. There's even an iPad custom mounted to the glovebox. As a true Suburban, you get three rows of seating, and each headrest even has a TV monitor mounted in the rear. Its huge 127-inch wheelbase is enough to carry friends, family, and all the toys (there's even a trailer hitch nicely hidden.) But even with this cavernously comfy interior, there is plenty of evidence of a performance machine. You get a great-looking Budnik three-spoke steering wheel on a Ididit tilt column. Beyond that is a full AutoMeter Phantom gauge package to keep an eye on everything going on under the hood.

Under the hood is more of the award-worthy presentation. There's the exterior orange on the inner fenders and engine bay, and it's joined by the exterior silver in accents like the radiator shroud and master cylinder to deliver as awesome a two-tone look as the body. Plus, the motor has all the right investments. It's a 350 cubic-inch crate V8 that the consignor states is a performance build that has been stroked to 383ci total. It has been upgraded with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Intake, Mallory HEI distributor, upgraded pulleys/brackets, and Hedman headers feeding a rather straight dual exhaust. This even has an upgraded cooling system with two trans coolers for when you're towing. The transmission is a nice mix of hardy and performance with a stout TH400 three-speed automatic that features a 2500 RPM stall. Power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and grippy modern tires on the updated 20-inch Boss wheels make for the ideal package to live up to the Suburban's versatile reputation.

It's reported that over $50k was invested in this custom build, and it proves it with upgrades and quality over every inch. Don't let this one-of-a-kind super Chevy slip through your fingers. Call today!!!
