Description

This is a 1946 Chevrolet 1/2 Ton pickup. A real classic. It is powered by a built 235 six coupled to a Turbo Hydromatic 350. It has an Offenhauser two pot manifold and a two piece exhaust, It has what I have been told a Mustang front clip with disc brakes and a Mustang rear end with drum brakes. I did not build the pickup, it was built by a friend and when it was done he passed away and never got to enjoy it. The interior in roll and pleat white vinyl with red accents. It has all new wiper motors and a new heater. The steering column is a stainless tilting column from IDIDIT with a Grant Banjo steering wheel. The speedometer and gauges are all Dolphin Electronic. The paint is two part, base coat/clear coat. I have a box full of receipts that will come with it. I will also include all the dash plaques from the shows that it has participated in. It has a unique tailgate latch which you can see in the pictures. I am just getting too old a stiff to enjoy the truck. It was not made for a guy that's 6'1" and has a big belly. It has been one heck of a fun truck that is a real head turner. It can be a daily driver, I have had no problem keeping up or even passing on the freeway. It rides nice but it's just a little cramped for me. The insurance I have on it costs $120 per year for unlimited mileage and $35000 loss coverage. Like I said I'm not the builder but if you have any questions please email them to me and I'll do my best to answer them. I appreciate you taking the time to look at my auction. I know that the winner of this truck will be very happy. If it does not sell on ebay it will be going to Meacham Auctions to be sold there. Please contact me if you are interested in the truck, please don't contact me if you just want to sell my truck for me.
