Description

1970 CHEVY TOWNSMAN STATION WAGON same as Impala bodystyle. This is one slick ride dripping with COOL a real "Grocery Getter from Hell" It draws a crowd wherever I take it, if you hate attention and stopping for pictures this car is not for you.

This car is a ROCK SOLID and DRY Southern car it was Ziebarted and Undercoated when new and spent the early part of its life in Florida where it sat in a garage up untill a couple of years ago last registered in 1982! The floors are amazing, The doors close like new and It has never seen any road salt climates since new. The interior is in great shape for an almost 50 year old car. Even the factory headliner is still up and tight they usually always fall down on the wagons. The rear power window works and the tailgate drops down or swings to the side. It even has some great vintage stickers of states traveled when it was new on the inside of the tailgate. The engine in the car now is not the original the person I bought the car from installed it, it is a 350 factory 4 bbl engine with a turbo 350 trans. It runs and drives good no ticking or knocking the trans shifts as it should. I have never taken it any great distances just local cruise nights and ice cream runs. The new dual exhaust sounds great! dual glasspacks with quad tips. The A/C is all hooked up but he never charged it when he installed the engine.I have put a ton of money into the car after buying it it has the following work just performedNEW BATTERYNEW ALTERNATORNEW VOLTAGE REGULATORNEW FUEL PUMPNEW STARTERNEW DISTRIBUTORNEW SPARK PLUGSNEW WIRESNEW CAP & ROTORNEW EDELBROCK ELEC CHOKE 600 CARBNEW CERAMIC COAT HEADERSNEW DUAL EXHAUST TO THE BUMPERNEW STAINLESS QUAD TIPSNEW BRAKE BOOSTERNEW MASTER CYLINDER4 NEW BRAKE DRUMSNEW BRAKE SHOES FRONT AND REARNEW WHEEL CYLINDERS FRONT AND REARNEW FRONT RUBBER BRAKE HOSESNEW BRAKE SPRINGS AND HARDWARENEW TIRES (HAVE ABOUT 1000 MILES ON THEM NOW)I am sure I am probably forgetting some stuff but as you can see it has had alot done to it already. The body is finished in Blitz Black John Deere industrial paint it lasts for years outside. The Dean Jefferies style flames are satin white with a blood red pinstriped outline. It rolls on 15 x 7 front and 15 x 8 rear Astro Supreme wheels with bullet centercaps and bullet lugs added. This is a slick draggin wagon, a piece of American History for cheap money but it is not a Barret Jackson show car so don't expect that at this price. But it is a Rock Solid driver that draws a crowdwhereverI take it. Perfect to park out front of your Bar, Restaurant or Tattoo Shop. I have a clear NC title in MY name this is my own personal car registered and insured I am not a dealer.INTERNATIONAL BUYERS ARE WELCOME! PLEASE BE SURE TO READ THE TERMS OF THE AUCTION BELOW
