Numbers Matching 1966 Chevelle SS 396. Born with Drivetrain rebuilt.

396/325 rebuilt with L-78 Solid Cam and Lifters Set.

Muncie M20 rebuilt. The original gears were in perfect shape. The Bearings and Shifter Forks were replaced. Original 444 Bellhousing. New Clutch, Pressure Plate and Throw Out Bearing. The Original Shifter was rebuilt.

12 Bolt Posi rebuilt with 3.31 Ring and Pinion Set, New Timken Master Bearing Kit Including Axle Bearings and Seals, New Upper Control Arm Bushings, Eaton 3 Series Posi Unit rebuilt with Eaton Part Number 29403-00S which are 18 steel discs, guides, and shims. This is what the factory used.A new Eaton 400 pound Spring Pack, Eaton Part Number 29590-00S was also used for the rebuild.

Regal Red with Reupholstered Red Interior.Bucket Seats, Console, Factory Gauges and Knee Knocker Tachometer.

The steering column was rebuilt by Gary's Classics. The interior was reupholstered with a complete Legendary kit which included seat covers, dash pad, door panels, headliner and rear package tray.

The carpet was manufactured byAuto CustomCarpet (ACC). The carpetwas also purchased from Legendary.

The Steering Wheel was restored by James Hinshaw.

The Deluxe Seat Belts were restored by Ssnake-Oyl.

All wiring was replaced with American Auto Wire Harnesses.

The Rear Bumper is a NOS GM Bumper. The original front bumper and bumper guards were chromed by Tri City.

The Hood is the Original GM SS Hood. The Hood Scoops are also Original GM. The Original Hood Scoop Inserts were also re-chromed.
