STK 2007 1976 Chevrolet Corvette The popular Corvette C3 was produced from 1968 through 1982. This matching numbers 1976 T-Top model is in original condition except for a repaint in the early 90s and is a fine example of the C3. It has been in garage storage for most of its life. The current owner claims the 52K mileage shown on the odometer is correct. This is a very nice driver-quality Corvette and would require a repaint to become a classic. All exterior body panels and gaps are straight and true and the front/rear bumper covers have been replaced. Seat covers, carpeting and dash-pad are all well presented. This coupe is equipped with tilt wheel, power tinted windows, power locks and AM/FM stereo. The optional L-82 350 CI small block Chevrolet motor is rated at 210HP with one Quadrajet 4-barrel and spark delivered by a GM HEI electronic ignition. We have been told that the engine is stock and has not been rebuilt. An upgraded new radiator has been installed. The transmission is the optional 4-speed manual that includes a 3:55 rear axle ratio. A rust-free chassis is rock solid and the rear suspension has been upgraded with a composite mono-leaf rear spring that provides much better handling and ride than the original steel leaf configuration. Dunlop radials with good tread remaining are mounted on period-correct Western Alloy wheels. Power brakes are 4-piston disc/caliper units with new pads on all 4 corners.
