1989 Chevrolet SIlverado Crewcab Dually

First the good, cab is solid and floors are good. Front clip has a couple small dings that can be easily fixed. Engine is a 454 and transmission is a 400. Both run strong with no issues. Interior isn't too bad, definitely needs some cleaning but is workable. It is an ac truck (Non working) and has cc, pl and pw that work. The tires hold air and have some tread left. It also has a visor that is in great shape. Best of all, it still has its headliner! The bad, fuel pump is on a toggle switch. Previous owner put a new tank and pump in and pinched a wire. He said he was in a field when it quit so he ran it though the switch. It needs brakes bad. If you are local you can get it home but otherwise I would trailer/tow it. The bed isn't in the best shape. I know where there is a good dually bed if interested though. It does need rockers. Doors have some dings, shop said easy fixes though. One door has small rust hole hole. Steering column needs work. It drives but flops around at the tilt joint. I'm being honest here and telling you everything I know to be wrong with the truck. I hate to show up to a "near perfect" truck and be disappointed. This is a great find for Indiana and surrounding areas. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping. There are haulers that will ship this for around $500 you can find them online. Just to be clear, NO, I will not bring this to you but I will work with your shipper.A down payment of $500 must be made within 24hrs of the close of the auction.
